Lovely room with ensuite, room 17. Excellent breakfast, toast, cereal, muffins, yogurt,and fresh fruit salad. Staff very friendly.
Really nice people - they kindly let me charge my car too! Breakfast was nice, with fresh fruit. I'll stay again.
It was good value for money, in a great spot, with excellent service. Bed was good; wifi was very good. Only issues for me were the thin walls, and could have used a small fridge in the room. Otherwise, a very good stay.
We loved our stay here! The guesthouse has a welcoming, friendly and homely feel. The room was spacious and the beds were comfy. Breakfast was great too; our toddler was very excited by all the breakfast options. Lovely owners. Thank you Sahara!
Comfy and cosy rooms. Staff there are so friendly, accommodating and good value for a chat. Biggest highlight was Otto the schnauzer who chills at reception, what a legend.
People, this review only applies to the motel room & not the hosts as per other reviews. The beds are comfortable with the main bed in a separate room for better privacy and two more single beds in the lounge. Also has an excellent solid table, chairs in the open lounge area (without any privacy voils?) plus a comfortable couch. The poorly designed kitchen has a patheticly small, difficut to work at, bench space with the very bare minimum of utensils & not even one plastic bowl! Bathroom basin is a nice size, plus a big mirror, however the cheap, badly designed new shower space is small & pokey with below average water pressure. There is plenty of competition in this area so people can judge for themselves. Steve Franklin Rotorua

Julie and Mike are extraordinary people. We visited from the US in May 2023. While we were staying there, I became ill. Julie immediately moved us to the quiet motel part of the grounds where we remained for ten days. It was quiet, comfortable and clean. Julie was always checking in on us, making sure we had everything we needed. She even took me to the grocery store when I felt better. Truly the nicest people who helped us out when we most needed it. I am so grateful. Highly recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed.
I really enjoyed stay here. Hosts are very understandable, provided flexibility and upgraded my stay to make my stay much easier. Room is very clean and comfortable. Great location, highly recommended
