Omokoroa Campsite rating TOTALLY UPMOST QUALITY. Amazing Campsite and such an enhancing Campsite. Latest developments just WONDERFUL. The owners are immensely wonderful and everly caring and helpful.
The place in new Zealand, very professional staff, very well maintained, hot free showers, well equipped kitchen, washing machines and dryers. The cleanest camp ground in the country, these people should run a training school on how to run a camp ground and provide the service people expect. If you can find any better you are in a 5* hotel
We arrived in the afternoon and stayed one night. Very easy communication and access to the non powered site that we were after. Both our girls who are 5 and 18months enjoyed walking around the camp, they even had the chance to meet Tony and his lovely Missy who showered us with cuddles and kisses. Facilities were amazing and clean and there was everything you needed. The notes in the bathroom and showers made me smile everytime I went in, best bit for me! Made our stay 10/10 and we will definitely recommend and come back! Thank you guys :) Fraser and Iris
It has both options powered and non powered camping site.. It Had common kitchen,laundry area. Also has dump station and water pump to refill your water tank of campervan. We were there for one night and took non powered campervan park area with three people costing us to $45 which was quick good comparing with the facilities provided. The lady at the reception was quite helpful. Best place to stay if you are in tauranga and heading towards Auckland.
Such a nice and quaint place. It was full of people that look to stay there for weeks on end as well as single day travelers such as myself. Facilities were excellent and very clean; be aware that the showers are on a timer, but it's 15 minutes so that should be fine for most. Very kind people at reception and it was nice to see some cats and dogs walking about.
Omokoroa motor camp has been our home for the past 7 months. It’s a wonderful place, beautifully blissful and will forever occupy a special place in our hearts. There is everything you need when it comes to facilities. We were always so impressed by how clean the camp/facilities were kept. Rex’s cleaning efforts and genuine care towards the daily task have never gone unnoticed. Everybody is so kind and generous towards each other and there is real sense of community between all. Omokoroa itself is very charming. The beach is only a 5 minute drive away and the coastal walk is so pretty. On a couple of occasions we even sighted some sting rays!! The Neighbourhood Pizzeria down the road is ranked and recommended highly when it comes to the best pizza’s we’ve ever eaten!! Without a doubt your Omokoroa motor camp experience will be very memorable one. A huge thank you to Phil and Lesley who lovingly put their all into ensuring the camp is a safe, helpful, fun and friendly environment. They are warm and welcoming and make you feel like nothing is too much hassle.
Terrible experience. Manager was rude. She shouldn't work in this industry with an attitude like hers. We've travelled all over New Zealand and this was the worst by far. We ended up leaving and not going back for the night. Park is full of regular/permanent costumers who were not very polite. Felt extremely uncomfortable. Don't rate it at all.
