“Really awesome store with a neat setup and great variety! South African Pantry in Lower Hutt has an excellent selection of authentic South African goods, from biltong and boerewors to favorite snacks and pantry staples. The store is well-organized, clean, and the staff is super friendly. If you're craving a taste South Africa or looking to try something new, this is the place to visit!”
“This seems to be a new place. And WOW - what a nice one. Everything you look for in a Japan Mart. Great food and lots of variety. Also non food like cosmetics and households, ceramics and more. Seems to open a liquor shop soon as well.”
“Nice place to buy Sri Lankan products, food and ready to eat food. They also have cammed and boiled ready to eat food. And frozen ready to eat products. Rice, biscuits jams, pickles, cordials, sauces for a Sri Lankan taste. They have Sri Lankan sweetmeats during the April New year festival and Christmas & New year period. They have great roasted curry powder and other authentic spices. Great asian supermarket to buy snacks and groceries. They have ready to eat frozen Sri Lankan sweetmeats and breakfast and snack items. And natural fruit juices like wood apple and elephant house soft drinks. They have ready to eat chillies paste, brinjal, sambol, chutneys and pickles. They even have clay pots and religious items and statues. you can buy rice and grains and Sri Lankan spices like roasted curry powder. It's in the heart of the city with plenty of parking and close to the Mall.”
“Lovely store. Well laid out, spacious, good lighting, good range of products, friendly staff. We are just visiting the area for a short time so could not buy much but my daughter was pleased to find VerMints (the ginger mint flavour, which I was first introduced to by a friend in the US and they can be hard to find in NZ), coconut water, and Proper Crisps corn chips (which can be hard to find in our home town). We also got some Clipper tea advent calendars for her and her sister later this year.”
“Targeted more at the commercial buyer unlike the Wellington store which has a retail area but it is absolutely great. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The store is very clean and well organises. Definitely somewhere I will continue to shop at for event catering requirements”
“The perfect place to get all your Asian related items, ranging from snacks, sauces, instant meals, frozen food, veges, etc. They even have a dining area where you can order your Asian favourites or do a takeaway. Their roast duck, bbq pork, roast pork and wat tan hor are on the must have list. There are toilets located at the rear where the carpark is. Parking out front can be a nightmare if it’s busy but lots of street parking available if you don’t mind a short stroll.”
“Woolworths is a convenient one-stop shop for all my grocery needs. The stores are clean, well-organized, and usually well-stocked with a good variety of products. I especially appreciate the fresh produce section and the easy-to-use online shopping platform. Prices can sometimes be a bit higher than other stores, but the quality and service make up for it. A reliable supermarket for everyday essentials.”

“Highly recommend. Our family loves all the dumplings that Oriental Cuisine has to offer. Our favourite would have to be the Siu Mai and I love cooking them for my kids for a quick and easy dinner.”
“Fantastic ice creams served by the very pleasant owner always with friendly chat and he remembers the flavours you usually have.”
“We visited as a Playcentre trip. Michaela was really easy to communicate and plan with. Our children had a great time helping put mulch around the plants and planting some new plants. Michaela was realistic about how long the children’s attention would last and we moved inside to enjoy coffees and the children played in the play area.”
“Iconic sweet and savoury crêpes in a cone concocted with a French chef that will introduce you to a new culinary experience. Try the signatures, you won't regret it.”
