   Our son went to the kindy and had a great experience there. The whole place is warm and welcoming , full of natural materials. The teachers were supportive made the kindergarten feel like home. We have moved overseas now, but are still grateful for this first experience our son had at the kindy. It has set him up for success as he feels open and confident at the new school.

   This is a lovely kindergarten with high student teacher ratios. The environment is calm and well suited to young tamariki who want to attend kindy but not get overwhelmed. Teaching staff are excellent. Thoroughly recommend.

   Such a beautiful kindergarten & I’m so grateful for the wonderful community. All the teachers are absolutely amazing & my daughter is always excited to go to kindy & excited to see everyone. It’s a beautiful and natural environment and the outdoor space is beautiful with the trees & the birds ❤️

   Our daughter goes here. We feel that it's a very supportive environment with a high teacher to child ratio where each childs needs and interests are treated individually. The environment (inside and outside) are beautiful and natural. A large villa space converted, with soft colours and a wood fire. Outside has mature trees with shade, lots of birds and a good space to explore. Fully recommend this kindy for any child!

   Our two tamariki spent fours years at this beautiful kindergarten and we loved it so much that we travelled each day from Porirua. What we valued most was that each child is seen and met for who they are and the creative, gentle and playful ways of connecting with the children by the teachers was heartfelt, intuitive and they enabled them to feel nourished, confident in themselves and be together as a kindy whānau. Although being right in the middle of the city, the ethos of the kindy had a strong connection with nature and its backyard was a picture of serenity for our tamariki. Our boys still speak of their joyful time there and the learnings and relationships shared will feed their spirits for their lifetime.

   Our son spent 2 wonderful years at this beautiful kindy, I highly recommend it. Beautiful surroundings for your tamariki to spend their day in. Child led rhythms in each day provide a calm environment for the children to thrive. (note 'child led' is not the children just doing whatever they want all day, rather the teachers will focus on the needs of the child within the activity at the time). Sending your child to a Steiner kindy is such a great way for them to start their love of learning.

   Our extra sensitive little daughter has attended Wellington City Rudolf Steiner Kindergarten between ages 4 to 6 and she adored the place! Previous to that, I cannot settle her down to other places, so it was a lifesaver for us that she loved her teachers and was clearly being loved by them! :) Highly recommend this kindy to anyone who has the same shy little one as our daughter...but to the not too shy ones as well! P.s.: She has become so open and confident by age 6, you could not even believe!

   Wellington city Steiner kindy is the most special place for your child to be, - “home away from home” the environment and teachers are all warm and welcoming with a big dose of magic and wonder . I had two children through this kindergarten with one just finishing this year and would highly recommend it to any family who wants to nurture their child’s childhood and be apart of a very welcoming community.

   Our daughter was here for two years. Everything about it was perfect: amazing community of loving and engaged parents. Super experienced, calm and kind teachers, small, beautiful, thoughtful. It all feels grounded, with natural materials and a slow pace - a sharp contrast to our manic, digital world we live in. Can't recommend highly enough.
