“Tim at Island Bay Divers is fantastic, super knowledgeable and a great communicator. Unfortunately, I was unable to complete the course due to unusual ear issues. Tim was responsive and processed a refund for me that same day. Would 100% recommended Island Bay divers. I hope to complete the course sometime in the future. Thank you Tim !”

“A great restaurant serving delicious food located steps from the Ibis hotel where I was staying. The Mussels were some of the best and the lamb rump was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is very nice as it seems to be an old bank building. Prices were reasonable. It was however very noisy.”

    Mungavin Hall

    ★★★★☆ 4.3

“The Main hall is huge! Plenty of tables and chairs. Excellent oven. Fridge was a good size to store food and drinks. Great bar area to set up kitchen stuff and prep food. You need to bring your own utensils, kitchen stuff and dish washing needs. There's no dish washer so it's best to use paper plates and cups as well as serving bowls that you can just chuck out. Thank god the Rubbish bags and bin were supplied. If you have 100 guests or under? It's best to hire the adjoining hall as the main hall is really huge. The Caretaker David was awesome to deal with, real good sort. You have to meet him at the hall to open as they don't give you keys, which is great..one less thing to worry about. Just make sure you have a sign saying private function on the entrance doors because it's on the main road and people walk in thinking there's housie or come to use the toilets lol but overall experience was excellent. Shops across the road and Chinese takeaway incase you need extras. Over all experience..Excellent!”

“Love this place. Full of great ideas. Love that you slowly walk around what seems like a circular tower inside. Plenty of ideas for anyone doing up theor homes, or just needing inspiration. The staff are wonderfully friendly and attend to your needs or leave you to it. Whatever you prefer. Wish I coukd come here more. One of my fave places, but then again I'd be an interior designer if I could. Definitely 5 *****”

“Went here for the first time to see Wake Up Dead Man and it was a very nice experience. Although the layout made it feel a bit like a bingo parlour upon first entry, the amount of people gathered here gave the venue a much livelier feel than other local theatres, and the screens and audio quality were top notch. It had more of a community vibe than I was expecting and I think we’ll frequent this cinema more often than not in the future.”

“My husband also went to Mana in the 80s (hassled by teachers and bullied by kids). He swore we would never send our daughter there. But several decades later, new principal, new teachers, new teaching strategies, new uniforms it is a college we are proud to send our daughter to - things can change for the better. The open evening changed my husband's view.”
