“My partner and I really enjoyed our one night stay at Microtel by Wyndham Wellington. We arrived in Wellington around 8:00 AM and caught an Uber directly to our hotel (20 min drive from airport). Front of staff was extremely lovely and offered to look after our luggage before check-in at 2:00 PM. We booked the Internal Queen Room without Windows. It was perfect size for two people, and still spacious for us to place our belongings. Bed was comfortable - got a good night rest. Service is great, staff are extremely helpful. You can order some food from the menu. We ordered the Hawaiian pizza for nibbles, which costed around $15. The hotel is approximately 20 mins walking distance to Lambton Quay and Queen Wharf. It was simple to navigate around central. Overall, 10/10 experience. Highly suggest to book here.”

Great staff, well bar one who works Saturdays (she is rough around the edges, makes calls during meal prep and is rude) she charges you for nuts but gives free nuts to handsome caucasian men. Fresh food, great place to eat, affordable. Healthy, convenient and a lunch time fav. 5 stars!”

“Denny’s Porirua – Comfort, Consistency & Nostalgia I grew up visiting Denny’s in Auckland as a child, and walking into the Porirua Denny’s brought that same sense of nostalgia rushing back. I love that even after all these years, nothing has really changed — the menu, the plates, the atmosphere — it’s all wonderfully consistent and familiar. The staff at the Porirua location were kind and attentive, ensuring we were well looked after. While it can be a little pricey, I find it’s definitely worth it for a meal thats made with care and consistency. When I've visited, the restaurant is always clean, tidy, and usually nice and quiet, which makes for a relaxing dining experience. A classic that continues to deliver comfort food, good service, and that timeless Denny’s feel. Highly recommend the Porirua location!”

“Always a great experience at Pizza Hut! The pizzas are hot, fresh, and packed with flavor every single time. I especially love the stuffed crust—cheesy, soft, and totally satisfying. The menu has plenty of options for everyone, from classic favorites to new creations, and the sides (like the garlic bread and wings) are just as good as the main dishes. Customer service is friendly and efficient, and orders are ready quickly, whether you're dining in, picking up, or getting delivery. “Don't know why there aren't more reviews about this place. I feel like it gets overlooked because Sushi Bi is nearby at the train station. However, this place is a little gem. I remember coming here a good 10 years ago when the price of one piece of sushi was 70 cents. This place is still greatly affordable and still holds up its name to having great chicken. Their chicken katsu donburi is perfection. You get the katsu sauce and kewpie mayo drizzled over a deep fried chicken cutlet that is still so juicy and crunchy even though it was probably fried an hour or few ago. They include both lettuce and cabbage underneath this beautiful chicken and a generous amount of rice. I was afraid getting the regular size was going to be too small for my appetite so I got some sushi on the side. The sushi is cheap, at their basic pieces being $1 per piece. It's nothing to write home about but it's fresh and simple which I do prefer sometimes. The range is small but it's solid. Their salmon is very, very good. I think I'll order the large donburi next time. If you don't eat chicken, they also do a fish katsu! I'll be coming back again for that chicken katsu donburi. It calls my name....”

“Been walking past this place for years so I'd decide to check this place out for dinner had a couple of tacos with beef cheese lettuce and garlic sauce and everything mixed together the flavor was enhanced and it was very yummy. Customer service the person there was very polite respectful and welcoming and prepped my food with a lot of care five stars for service and the food. the place was clean and tidy and will definitely be checking out this place again.”
