“What an amazing team of dedicated, caring teachers. I can highly recommend Grafton Kindy. Thank you for all your amazing efforts with the children.”
“Both my children go here – one in school and one in kindy. They both love it. The approach is wonderful and works well for both kids.”
“Amazing people, welcoming, friendly an passionate about their jobs. Can definitely feel the family vibe. Awesome areas for the kids and so much room. They go above and beyond to help not only the children but the families. Highly recommend.”
“Excellent place for kids to start their journey in education. Great staff and an outstanding manager. If you like order, tidiness and warm attention, this is the place for your kids. Sadly, my son stopped attending because he turned 3 and had to find another place for himself. Probably I'm wishing they get the permit to work with older kids in the future.”
“Our son started at Otari Montessori as a little boy and has just turned five, moving on to primary school. We couldn’t have asked for a better start to his learning journey. The Montessori philosophy, the incredible teachers, and the proximity to Otari Bush made for such a special experience. He had formative years filled with curiosity, independence, and a deep love for learning. We’re so grateful to the team for creating such a warm and inspiring environment!”
“We transferred my son from a daycare center to Capital City Preschool and the difference has been amazing. At CCP, the teachers are welcoming and warm, and my son looks forward to going every day—sometimes he doesn’t even want to leave! I especially appreciate the 1:7 teacher-student ratio, the personalized updates on his interests and strengths, and the support for his emotional development. Since starting at CCP, his speech has improved significantly. They offer extracurricular activities (my son looks forward to Playball on Fridays!) and community excursions, also celebrates different cultures and events. It feels like a small, nurturing community. The best preschool! I'm so glad we transferred my son to CCP.”
“We are so happy we chose this caring, fun, happy, safe and stimulating preschool for our 2-year-old. He loves it and his eyes light up when he talks about it and about each of the dedicated, hardworking and talented kaiako / teachers. He has grown so much in his six months there - verbally, socially, in his motor skills, in his confidence and in his knowledge of himself and the world. There’s a warm, calm, friendly, family-like vibe that comes from being a small, not-for-profit preschool. Location in city-fringe western suburbs is hard to beat too - quiet and peaceful, and convenient as well. Can’t recommend it highly enough!”
“Both our tamariki have been at BestStart Tawa, so we've been with the centre for over 7 years now. We absolutely love the teachers and staff who all show so much love and care for the tamariki and the whole whanua! The team do an amazing job, work together as a cohesive unit and are very adaptable. There are great resources for the tamariki and the food that is provided is such good quality and delicious. Everyone is so tamariki focuse, and there is a real emphasis on building relationships with the whole whanua. We've loved our time here and are so fortunate for the relationships built. Thank you so much!”
“We are incredibly grateful to the amazing team at Best Start Rongotai for their warmth, care, and dedication in helping our daughter Zeraphina settle into the center. From day one, the teachers have been so understanding and supportive, making what can be a challenging transition so much easier for both parents and children. Their personalized approach, patience, and nurturing environment truly eased our minds, and it has been heartwarming to see how quickly Zeraphina has grown comfortable and happy in their care. We couldn’t be more thankful for the peace of mind they’ve given us as parents and the wonderful start they’re providing for our daughter.”
“I highly recommend Millie’s House Oxford Street. The teachers are friendly, all cultures are recognised and celebrated and it is evident that the kaiako really do care about the welfare and development of the children as individuals. We have loved being a part of the kindy community and will look back fondly on our time there as our son heads off to school. We feel that attending Millie’s House has aided our son immensely in his readiness for school as he has gained so much confidence in himself, especially in regards to his social interaction with others.”
“CMS will forever hold a special place in our family. This is a community of like minded parents and teachers working together to educate and nurture children. I have learnt a lot about Montessori as an educational and developmental philosophy which has benefited my parenting. The physical environment and resources at our school are beautiful, from the carefully landscaped gardens, edible gardens, playground, and nature based classroom materials with no screens. Caring for the environment is also a big part of the Montessori philosophy; with children seen as kaitiaki of their space. To enter a classroom seeing young children engaged, calm and excited to learn is a real joy. Our five year old has been there for his whole preschool journey and it has been a pleasure to see his confidence and sense of self grow. Thank you CMS.”
“Good teachers, warm welcome for us parents and Kayal. Very supportive environment in the room.”
“very supportive ! I haven't been a student for 15 years, Te Rito Maioha has made mt experience so far ,really enjoyable!”
“They are very warm and took the time to understand our son.”
“We love Shine! Teachers are loving and nurturing. Such a great place that offers structured play based learning which made our transition into school so seamless. Highly recommend.”
“My child is always excited to come back to the centre. One day, she just act like a teacher to her little brother and asking us when he will come to school too. It tell us that she is happy at the child care.”
“Mount Cook Primary School is an exceptional educational institution that provides a nurturing and supportive environment for students to thrive. The dedicated teaching staff deliver engaging lessons, fostering academic excellence and curiosity. The school's focus on character development, teamwork, and community values helps students become confident, empathetic, and responsible individuals. Modern facilities and resources enhance the learning experience, while the school's welcoming atmosphere encourages family involvement. I had the privilege of attending Mount Cook Primary School for eight wonderful years, and I can confidently attest to its excellence. My time here was truly transformative, and I cherish the memories and lessons learned. The school's impact on my development and love for learning has been profound. Rating: 5/5 stars.”
“Thank you so much! It’s so sad to have our son’s Kindercare journey come to an end, but we can see the values, self-confidence and self-worth you have all helped to develop and strengthen in him as he navigates making new friends, tackling new challenges and making the big transition to school. He has made such wonderful friends through his journey (as have we!) and I’m sure he will be keen to say hi whenever he swings by dropping off or picking up his brother. Kindercare provided such a supportive, collaborative environment to help him thrive during transitions and periods of change, as well as build his language and understanding of his body and mind as we navigate the world with his potential neurodiverse diagnosis. The extra meetings with kaiako to build individualised plans and strategies to use at daycare and carry over to home as well were such a huge help for us to build confidence and resilience as a family while we figured out what worked best to support him. Kaiako listened and made us feel heard and valued when things were tough and celebrated with us when things went well. You have given our son the space to grow in his own unique way. We’re so very proud of our big man heading off to school and everything he has achieved socially, emotionally, physically and academically at Kindercare. You’ve been a home for him to grow and learn, and for that we will be forever grateful.”
“We were glad that we placed our son in Little Wonders' care. The environment is friendly, professional and educational. The teachers and staff are so caring, loving, genuine, down to earth, and trust worthy. Children play outside in the nice big backyard with lots of things to play on. There's just a wide variety of play and learn going on. My son loved Little Wonders, too bad we had to move to Auckland. I highly recommend Little Wonders to anyone needing childcare for their children. Thank you so much to Kuku and Paua room teachers especially to his key teachers, Chrishanti and Juliet. You have contributed to his learning experience. Ian still misses everyone and still talks about all friends he made at Little Wonders :)”
“This is a fabulous nursery for our two daughters who are 9 and 20mths old. Staff are caring, kind, generous, well-educated and the centre is clean and well resourced.”
“Peninsula Early Learning has been such a supportive environment for both my daughter and our whānau. The kaiako are all incredible teachers and so kind. They always have the child’s interest at the forefront of decisions. The ratios are great and the weekly nature walk programme and quarterly trips exceeded my expectations. My daughter absolutely loves being able to explore the local beaches or community on these trips. We have loved being part of the preschool community and feel very lucky to have found this beautiful space for our tamariki.”
“My kids are thriving here. I see that they are enjoying playing with other kids and they are very at ease with all the teachers. I highly recommebd this centre”
“Our tamariki and whānau feel at home at our centre. The staff are friendly, caring and approachable and our tamariki can't wait to go to kura!”
“Fantastic, community spirited, learning environment for our tamariki. Awesome qualified teacher to child ratios which means I go to work and don't worry about my babies. It's small enough that our kids know the names of all the other kids and teachers there so they feel part of a larger family. Management are always available and always ask for parents to feedback on their ideas or plans. They are also really invested in PD for the staff so willing to keep learning and develop skills to support our tamariki.”
“This childcare centre is great. My daughter attended for 4 years and has a lot of special memories. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. There is a low staff turnover with quite a few staff there for 10+ years. There are two houses, under 2's and over 2's and there is a good settling in process when then move up to the over 2 house. It may not look like the flashest place (compared to all the new daycares starting up) but as a mother, I prefer a family friendly place with excellent staff.”
“My daughter goes there lovely teachers and kids Very helpful friendly Would recommend to go to Millies house Daly street”
