CMS will forever hold a special place in our family. This is a community of like minded parents and teachers working together to educate and nurture children. I have learnt a lot about Montessori as an educational and developmental philosophy which has benefited my parenting. The physical environment and resources at our school are beautiful, from the carefully landscaped gardens, edible gardens, playground, and nature based classroom materials with no screens. Caring for the environment is also a big part of the Montessori philosophy; with children seen as kaitiaki of their space. To enter a classroom seeing young children engaged, calm and excited to learn is a real joy. Our five year old has been there for his whole preschool journey and it has been a pleasure to see his confidence and sense of self grow. Thank you CMS.

Just amazing! Our eldest daughter is in her final year at this beautiful preschool and our youngest has just started. This is an amazing ECE, I can’t recommend it highly enough. My daughter loves it and is really thriving. Capital Montessori has offered both my children a fantastic environment for their pre-school years. The teachers have a wealth of montessori experience and the prepared environment they have created, has really allowed both of my children to gain their independence and self confidence. (Two life skills that I am happy they have prior to going off to primary school). Its amazing to watch the children move about the classroom with such purpose, grace and courtesy and to see first hand the interest they develop for learning at such a young age. When we first joined the Montessori method of learning was all new to us. The school offers these great montessori info evenings (what they call parent academy) which has helped me to understand the methodology and how the children learn in this environment. I would highly recommend Capital Montessori to any parent looking to help their children develop the building blocks they need for future learning.
