The teachers are fantastic - engaged with the children and seem to really care about the well being and happiness of the kids in their care. As it is independent and not for profit it has a great community feel. So glad we found Fairleigh.”

The teachers are caring and supportive working closely with parents as the tamariki start their kindy journey. The environment is engaging with interesting set ups that allow creativity and imagination to flourish ! “Our family loves Annabels, it’s a safe, caring and fun environment for our daughter to learn in! She loves it so much she asks to go to preschool every time we drive past. The teaching staff are wonderful, and are very supportive they welcome you and your child every morning with a smile. It has the rural feel and are keeping the old childhood traditions alive remembered by the parents when they were young. Would 100% recommend.”

“This is a great kindy. It has a huge outdoor area including a large covered area which is good for when it's raining. There are so many different activities set up to keep the kids busy. My daughter loves coming home with crafts she's made using the glue gun! The hours are perfect for my 4year old as she doesn't come home too tired and over stimulated!”

“Our child has been at Cotswold Kidsfirst for just over a year and it's been so great for his development. The teaching staff are experienced professionals who know how to bring the best out of your child. Every day he looks forward to going to kindy. I would recommend kindy to any family considering it, it's such an amazing environment for tamariki.”

“Enrolling my son in this Kindy was the best decision I’ve made for him. We moved from another centre (after visiting a few before that) and from the moment we walked in to Selwyn St Kindy we were made to feel so welcome; all staff immediately engaged with me, my son and my younger daughter too. Communication has been excellent, both in person and through the online platform, we always know what’s happening day to day. The kindy has a great large outdoor space and a beautiful and engaging indoor space. The teachers go above and beyond, embracing the strengths of families and celebrating the diverse community. What I love most is the genuine love and energy for the children, they truly put kids first and always take the time to comfort and listen to the children and their needs. They do it all, so many wonderful opportunities for the kids, they seek out interesting learning opportunities They sing with the kids, bake, use lots of te reo, actively teach about managing emotions, I really cannot fault them. It’s the kindy I wish all kids could have!”

“This is the best Kindy ever. The staff are welcoming and have been at the centre a long time and have a great deal of knowledge and support in place for all child and parents. All 3 of my children have attended here, one there now and my first child over 8 years ago. The centre has an amazing outdoor area and great clean spaces inside. A+++!!!!”

“Lovely teachers. I love how they individually pay attention to the children's need and write a review and feeback in Educa so us parents can see the progress of what they are learning in school. I often get educated too on how they build up the learning through playing. My daughter loves her kindee so much. It's never a dull moment for her. She often feels sad when it is not her school day, she very much enjoys her kindee. Teachers are so approachable and loving and good values are very much imparted to my daughter. Would rate them higher than 5 star.”
