We transferred my son from a daycare center to Capital City Preschool and the difference has been amazing. At CCP, the teachers are welcoming and warm, and my son looks forward to going every dayβsometimes he doesnβt even want to leave! I especially appreciate the 1:7 teacher-student ratio, the personalized updates on his interests and strengths, and the support for his emotional development. Since starting at CCP, his speech has improved significantly. They offer extracurricular activities (my son looks forward to Playball on Fridays!) and community excursions, also celebrates different cultures and events. It feels like a small, nurturing community. The best preschool! I'm so glad we transferred my son to CCP.

I'm so glad I chose this preschool for my daughter. She always has fun, makes friends, and learns something new every day. She also enjoys a variety of cultural, art, reading, and sports activities organised by the preschool. This preschool feels like a big family, with loving teachers, adorable kids, and supportive parents. I highly recommend this preschool to parents living in or commuting to the city who value quality early childhood education and a loving community.

We moved our daughter here from another centre, and have been incredibly happy with the change. Capital City Preschool has a real focus on learning and preparing children for school, rather than just childcare. The teachers are well qualified, caring, and incredibly enthusiastic about their jobs. The real seal of approval is that my daughter is excited to go to school in the morning and doesnβt want to leave when I pick her up.

Highly recommended for parents working in Wellington cbd due to it's very accessible location (by bus or car). Also we very lucky and thankful to have very loving and caring teachers that's why my daughter loves her teachers so much :) Lots of learnings from writing, dancing, meditating, exercise, baking, art, and also going to weekly library visits, educational tours and annual presentations and gatherings. No wonder why my daughter wants to stay longer at preschool even its time to go :)

After moving to Wellington beginning of last year we visited a few centres...upon visiting Capital City my daughter instantly felt at ease. The teaching staff and children are all so lovely and kind, the environment is warm and welcoming. The Teachers are well organised and always go out of their way to create new and exciting experiences for the children. Being centre city the children often get to go on wonderful excursions around the inner city. My daughter always wants to go to preschool and we can see how much her confidence has grown.

Weβve chosen for our younger child to also attend CCP. Weβre delighted to be back and have been again impressed by the experience for our child, for us as parents, and as a whanau. Weβve also really enjoyed reconnecting with families we met when our eldest attended and itβs a tribute to the centre that there are so many families choosing the centre for all their children. The centre continues to provide a supportive environment for us all. The transition into preschool was great, empowering us as parents and our child to work through the transition in our own way and timing. The kaiako were so kind (and patient) as we navigated toilet training and continue to show their care for our child and his own passions and quirks. Weβre constantly impressed by the wide range of activities offered to the tamariki, both in the centre (music, sports, mindfulness, baking to name a few) but also activities outside the centre (trips to the library, local theatre, Te Papa etc). The centre is supported by a passionate committee and caring families who share their cultural experiences with the children e.g. over Diwali, Chinese New Year etc which exposes them to the diversity of our local community. We feel so fortunate to have found this centre city gem, and are so pleased our youngest is benefiting from this great foundation for his learning journey. I am sure that he too will be so well prepared for primary school and the rest of his education just like his older brother was. Many thanks to the fab and hard working team at CCP.

I wanted to take a moment to share my experience with this amazing preschool. Both of my children have attended this school, and I am so grateful for the wonderful education and care they have received here. As a family we received individualized attention and support, which helped us as parents develop our childrens unique strengths and interests. The teachers' commitment to the kids success is truly remarkable. The teachers have created a warm and nurturing environment that fosters a love of learning and exploration. My children have developed strong social skills and has built meaningful relationships with their peers and teachers. What impresses me the most about this preschool is the genuine level of care the teachers have for the children. They take the time to get to know each child as an individual and tailor their teaching to meet their unique needs. They create a safe and supportive environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. Overall, I highly recommend this preschool to any parent who is looking for a high-quality education and caring community for their child. The teachers are exceptional, and the curriculum is well-rounded and engaging. My family is so grateful to be a part of this wonderful community, and I am confident that any family who chooses this school will feel the same.
