“We were in Auckland before a cruise and used Milestone for two half day tours. Ewald picked us up from the airport and gave us a half day tour of the city providing excellent insight into the city and its people. He then dropped us at our Airbnb near the harbor providing a stress free first day of vacation. The next day John gave us a tour of the beaches and mountains on the West coast of NZ. It was fantastic. We saw gorgeous beaches and waterfalls. The tours were provided using a roomy Mercedes van that the 6 of us had plenty of space. Highly recommended using Milestone for your tour needs in Aukland!!”

She kept us entertained and informed for the whole trip (a 2-hr ride) towards The Hobbiton Movie set. Her humor and jokes are topnotch, made us laugh quietly throughout the trip. She took care of us well and gave us the best way to enjoy our Hobbiton tour. Tiberius, our Hobbiton tour guide is well informed as well of the movie franchise especially everything about Hobbiton! “The only way it could have been better was if the river magically became longer and if they take notice of a minor safety observation. On our scheduled day the river level was too high to raft but we lucked out and were able to move our schedule around and still make it work two days later. our trip started with the water levels at the highest level allowed. It was intense very quick and it stayed that way. Our guides were great. The Safety briefings to the point and brief. Rafts in great shape. Gear is great although i did see a broken paddle blade in use on our raft which makes that paddle a bit more deadly. We flipped the landing on the large waterfall and then somehow i ended up with the broken paddle which i felt better about as now the dangerous paddle was in my control. It is Memorable. A must do. Their photo team did a great job too. We purchased our pics!”
