“There is a nice Freedom campsite oposite to this park, good toilets, one minute walk to the beach, very quiet. We stayed one night it was a pleasant stay.”
“Walked the dogs. Very hot day. Parking available in shady area. Stuck to the trees for shade. Nice park. Good size. Seating amongst the trees.”

“It’s a park. As far as parks go, it has most things. It has grass It has toilets It has a water fountain At certain times of the year it has goal posts There is a children’s playground. And is more often than not people, birds, dogs and more”
“Great place to walk the dog, enjoy sports and they also have a small playground for the kids. The toilets are next to the playground.”
“Great experience. Check-in was quick. Park is huge with lots of space between campers. Kitchen, BBQ, and washrooms were brand new. Laundry takes 2x $2 coins per machine. Overall great stay would recommend. Recommendations for park: double sided dump stations to allow more efficient departure times”
“Mean place to chill out with some bros, but you're at high risk of an angry mother telling you that you're a threat to children and that you simply MUST leave the premises, because a public park is not suitable for any individuals over the age of 11. The individual who threatened to call the authorities on me knows who they are, and they should know what they did wrong. If they still believe that they were in the right, and can do no wrong, I request that they take a long look in the mirror and think, "How did I turn down such a dark and depressing path?" Great experience overall, 10/10, would argue with that Karen again, loved every second of it.”
“Someone has put a basket of balls at the court. We took 6 kids today and we had a blast. Thanks for the basket of balls. Awesome.”
“A wonderful place for outdoor activities and to relax.”
“Nice quiet place. Ideal for a relaxing walk or run.”
“Perfect park to let the kids explore, and run around freely. Council have rebuilt the playground 2024 - double perfect! Ample parking close by and paved walkways to get to it. There's a duck pond as well as beautiful big trees, an arch bridge, gorgeous roses and long archway to walk through. A true and also well maintained Memorial park that the Te Awamutu Community and Council built. Proud to be living here!”
“Quiet this evening, how anyone would love to stay over, not over stay.. Green and fresh air, animals and their pet humans enjoying the grassy field with their balls. Young men having fun together with determination and energetic in the sense of progression, no doubt.. Great to witness positivity tbh. We care big ears!”
“Great place for a walk dog friendly”

“An affordable furniture shop next to an expensive furniture shop. Most of the stuff are made in china so good on you in transporting the stuff over. We didn’t buy anything this time but a 5 star rating is something you deserve”

“For young and old a great turf, needs some southerly protection and covered seating for visitors who would like to come and watch”
“The food here is delicious and reasonable price. Wide open spaces and kid friendly environment.”
“Cheap parking, and central location to plenty of restaurants, bars and theatres. Best suited to small vehicles, quite tight parking, and narrow thoroughfare to navigate. Paying via the app is quicker and easier than waiting to pay via the only two pay machines on the ground level. Lifts service the various levels and there is a staircase too - if you have prams and kids it's probably safer to drop the whānau (family) off outside first.”
