This park gets hammered by wind so needs work to be safe and safely usable for athletics and footy games...even though it is not the worst pitch in Wellington
Great place for bring your kids to do some exercise, there are running area, playgrounds and even a maze! Clean n tidy area indeed.. lots of free parking area, clean toilet near the karori play center. But I think the maze area should be repainted. When blooming, really love to sit down in the bench under the pohutawa trees in the corner and enjoying the view
One time I was on a swing here and my tooth fell out. It fell into a gap in the floor. Me and my dad rushed home to get tweasers so we could get my tooth out the hole. So many childhood memories were made here and I will always cherrish those fondly.
Best small park for kids. Even got a maze.

It's flat an open , has a running track and jong jump pit as well as a fairly modern playground and a retro maze.
