“I stayed here for one night before my international flight the next morning. The manager was really nice and kindly arranged a shuttle to the airport for just $10, based on my flight time, which was super convenient. I accidentally left my phone charger in the room but had to rush for my flight. After I returned to New Zealand, I contacted them and they were incredibly kind—they had kept my charger safe and returned it to me. Really appreciate their honesty and helpfulness. A great place to stay, especially if you’re flying out of the airport!”

“Little slice of heaven!!! We spent the night at Oak Lane Lodge. What an enchanting house and an incredible garden with the most beautiful trees. If you are looking for a house full of period character features and a quiet getaway, I would highly recommend Oak Lane Lodge. Sue and Gary were fantastic hosts and could not spoil us enough. The food was outstanding, the rooms and bathrooms clean and tidy and the beds very comfortable. We would def be visie again!”

Wonderfully situated near the train station, a wonderful coffee shop (Handpicked Roasters), bottle shop, superette, and many tasty international food options. “Stayed here in October 2017 Great little motor Lodge for your first night in New Zealand. We flew in to Auckland, arriving in the evening and needed a place to sleep for the night. Although the room was very old in style it was kept extremely clean and it looked like the shower had been recently updated. They also supply you with a small bottle of milk. The host was very helpful and showed us the room and when to park when we checked in.”

“Love this place would definitely recommend anyone to stay here. The room we stayed in was nice and warm and it had everything you need in the kitchen. Its affordable and the manager was even up late to wait for us to check in as we were travelling from Auckland. Love how there was another room inside with two singles for those who wants a quiet and peaceful sleep and a double in the main lounge if u wanna watch tv. My husband and I will love to come here again. And our parking was right in front of our room even more better. Thank you”
