“Tasty & fresh sushi! Had photo with owner & founder!”
“Of course, the taste is not as good as real Japanese sushi, but it is certainly fresh sushi that is handmade every morning. It is quite good for sushi in a mall food court.”
“Favourite sushi and Donburi place!”
“Super good food and friendly staff 10/10”
“Definitely the best (and most beautiful) sushi I ever had. If you have a few minutes you should eat in the seating are which is located upstairs in a business lounge with a glass front facing the harbour. The prices start at 1,50$ for the basic ones and they also have other options than sushi (e.g. Edamame, seaweed salad etc.) Totally recommendable!”
“I only order salmon and avocado sushi. Came here for the first time 2 days ago and the workers were very friendly and accommodated my request for a newly made pack of sushi without the wasabi and ginger in it (allergies). They did not hesitate to make a new pack and they smiled and were attentive to me and other customers the whole time. The sushi itself contained a lot of salmon compared to St Pierre's. I will definitely be back.”
“Best sushi we've had in Auckland. Real Japanese food. Lovely service and people.”
“The food is delicious and well served. I ordered the Teriaki salmon donburi. The vegetables are fresh, the portion well served and delicious. The service is good as well and the food was ready in 15 min. Really recommend the place.”

“Spicy crispy chicken on rice is very tasty.”
“This is a small Sushi bar. Because of size the best choice is to order ahead and get them to make to order. They do all the classic Japanese meals and will make pretty much anything to order. They do have a cabinet selection of pick your own but often run low so look up on there website what you feel like and order ahead to save on time. All very yummy made with love and care. They have a few tables and bench seating to eat onsite. Good takeaway packaging to eat where you like.”
“We ordered - chicken bento box - miso ramen - salmon lover sushi platter - yuzu fruit tea (cold) Staff was friendly and quick. I have never had chicken sushi before, so I was very surprised. The Bento box was great and very filling. We also had the Octopus balls and pork Gyoza as appetizers, they did not disappoint. I would venture to guess everything on their menu is amazing. Definitely worth the stop!”
“Great place for Korean food - we loved it! You get a really good variety of sided served with your dishes too which was nice. The service could be a little more friendly but still would reccomend. Good quality for the cost.”
“Best Katsubi out of all the ones I've been to! And I've tried a lot of them! They are so generous with the portions and the staff is so incredibly friendly! Definitely a must try”
“Apr 2022: This a nice and causy place, with much variety. The sushi is good, not fancy, and not superb. The prices are decent. 2021: I had a tasty Salomon sandwich and miso soup. The prices are surprisingly cheap.”
“Been about a year maybe nearly 2 years since I've been here. But they are still great. Also I thought I'd share the menu too”
“Clean and tidy lovely staff amazing sushi”
“Clean restaurant with friendly staff. Lots of options to choose from including chicken, fish, and veggie options. There is a fridge of beverages to purchase and additional seating in the back. The sushi I wanted was not available but they made it quickly for me and it was delicious. No complaints here. Additional notes.. limited parking on site, may have to park in the garage around the back .”
“Price and portion are both reasonable, and the food was excellent. Food was served a little slow but that makes sense considering how busy they were. Recommended!!”
