   Oh! the sparkling sake, made with muscat grapes, and, a sweet tumbler pitted glass -greetings on arrival/departure; humour; backchat from the kitchen; an ambience of thriving despite all odds with lunch time workers, Uber Eats, and, a wide range of lunch cabinet food with sushi specialties ... salmon salad, octopus balls ... perhaps miso could be just the dressing for fish salads. A sparking sake addict resisting recovery!

   We ordered - chicken bento box - miso ramen - salmon lover sushi platter - yuzu fruit tea (cold) Staff was friendly and quick. I have never had chicken sushi before, so I was very surprised. The Bento box was great and very filling. We also had the Octopus balls and pork Gyoza as appetizers, they did not disappoint. I would venture to guess everything on their menu is amazing. Definitely worth the stop!

   Affordable lunch spot serving Japanese classics. What we ordered: ❣️A range of Donburis - my coworkers all opted for this classic dish, each beautifully presented with a vibrant array of toppings. The fluffy rice, fresh vegetables, and generous portions ensured everyone left happy. ❣️Udon Soup - as Auckland’s chill sets in, I found comfort in a classic Japanese udon soup. The perfectly balanced broth and generous fillings of tofu and vegetables were exactly what I craved for a cozy meal. Overall, a great choice for a quick lunch! They have a diverse menu with something delicious for everyone.

   Dine-in, takeaway and Delivery available. I ordered the Chicken Katsu, Tempura prawns and pork Gyoza through Ubereats. The Chicken katsu was great! The chicken and Rice was plenty compared however the vegetables proportion was too little to go with the chicken and rice which meant I was left with more rice but they tasted very well individually! The Prawn Tempura was well crumbed with adequate amounts of sauce on the side which was more than enough to consume with the tempura and it tasted good! The pork Gyoza was tasty and it came with enough soy sauce. But the portion size for the single Gyoza was too small for me but it still does the job of tasting great! The packaging was good for the chicken katsu and was securely sealed but the same cannot be said for the tempura and gyoza which were inadequate packed in weak packaging (but it came to me safely) The price is very fair and student friendly. Great for a weekly night out or lunch out.

   Such a cute space with great food! Good amount of veggie friendly options (we got the spicy edamame, yakisoba, & sushi) and nice lighting & atmosphere. The umeshu (plum wine) was particularly refreshing & delicious; definitely give it a try!
