“After a refurbishment and challenging times due to never ending road works, Ambler reopened recently, much to the delight of the neighbourhood. Dishes have never disappointed whenever we’ve been, and we’ve gone through the whole menu, breakfast, lunch and dinner. The chefs know their flavours, cook time and combinations. Yum, yum, and yum!”

“Just popped in for coffee. Guy didn't listen to me as I ordered a mocha and ended up with a caramel mocha. Coffee was still good and well presented. The music could have been a better choice for the space. I felt like Barry white was going come out and caress me. Actually that wouldn't be so bad.”

Tables inside and outside available with weather coverage for the damper days. Highly recommend you make the stop if you're in the area. Treat yourself!”

“Best place for breakfast outside of the cbd. Very well prepared and painstakingly detailed presentation of delicious breakfast items. A wide range to choose from. Very reasonably priced. Fantastic service and very warm, friendly staff. Pet friendly outside seating available. Clean toilets. Quite a well lit corner, tucked away in one of Auckland's oldest suburbs. Definitely recommended over any other eating establishment in Mt Albert!”

“I visited this cafe with my daughter today.I ordered Flat White and Egg and Bacon muffin. Coffee is good but no good art. Food is not special, just ok. Place is enough to serve group. Interior is good. Cleanness is quite good. Service is very fast and good. Staffs are kind. Recommend for morning tea and coffee break.”

“Had a delicious breakfast here yesterday! I am fairly boring, I always get the eggs on toast. The had a big beautiful menu of loads of different things, as well as cabinet food. The staff were super friendly and welcoming I could see they are a local favorite. Great outdoor street seating as well as loads inside. “I stopped by this cafe and ordered the chicken burger along with a hot chocolate, and both were excellent! The burger was fresh, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked - really hearty without being too heavy. The service was warm and friendly, and the overall atmosphere made it a really enjoyable visit. “Such a lovely spot! I came in to have lunch and get a bit of work done, and I ended up staying longer than planned because I felt so good there. The staff were absolutely adorable, the tea was delicious, and there were plenty of gluten-free and vegetarian options. My meal was rich and comforting, and the tart for dessert was amazing, a bit much for just me, but can’t complain about that. I’ll definitely be back, either by myself or with friends! ✨”

“Absolutely loved our brunch at Willow Cafe. The service was warm, the atmosphere was calm and welcoming, and the food was just exceptional. I ordered the eggs benedict with smoked salmon and wow, it was perfect. The eggs were poached beautifully, the hollandaise was smooth and rich, and the salmon was fresh and balanced the dish so well. Everything was plated with care and looked as good as it tasted. You can tell there’s a lot of love and skill behind the food here. Definitely one of the best brunch spots around highly recommend and will be back for sure!”

“Delicious lunch at Biskit Cafe & Kitchen today. Service was good, food was served promptly, and staff were very friendly. Seems to be a favourite as the store was packed even on a weekday. As for the food, everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Portions were great. We had the Thai chicken salad, Seoul beef burger, and fettuccine. Overall, it was a delightful experience. Would definitely be coming back in the future. Would recommend if you're in the area.”

“We come here almost every week. The staff are always very friendly and accommodating, the food is delicious and there are lots of options (both menu and cabinet items). There is a nice peaceful atmosphere with good seating options inside and outside. Can't recommend enough :)”

“Unbelievable cafe! Super busy though so plan to wait, but totally worth the wait. Staff are amazing at juggling tables and customers, a very well run team. Amazing food! I got the big breakfast and added hollandaise, a Vienna coffee and takeaway too as coffee was so good! Hands down one of the best cafes around. Plus it’s on the beach so you can go for a walk on beach afterwards! Will be back for-sure!”

“A lovely cafe on Jackson St with heaps of cabinet food and full menu available. Portions are huge so do take that into consideration if you’re a light eater. Daily specials are often changing on the blackboard. Extremely friendly service and dogs are allowed at the rear of the cafe. It does get busy on weekend mornings so bookings are essential. Lots of parking but be prepared for a wee stroll if it’s busy.”

“Found this little café during our road trip around oxford. The place is charming and well maintained. Was pleasantly surprised by how warm and homely it felt. Sort of going to a friends house for a meal. The place is generous with the portion size and the staff are generous with smiles and hospitality. Would love to go there again. The peach honey bush tea is a must try! its been a day now, and im still daydreaming about the lovely gluten free slice i had. Yum.....”
