Not only is he friendly and welcoming, but his helpful nature truly sets this place apart. Raj goes above and beyond to ensure his customers are well taken care of. As a busy owner of a panelbeating shop, finding a place like this where I can unwind and recharge is truly a blessing. I highly recommend stopping by and experiencing the exceptional service and delicious offerings for yourself. Five stars all around for this hidden gem!”

“My family and I were in Strangers Cafe on Monday after lunch to get ourselves some coffee and hot soy milk. It's our first time there. We liked the vibe of the cafe but what I loved the most was the service. The lady that was over the counter is very lovely and accommodating. I liked her authentic smile while talking to us. She actually made our day, specifically my son's special request of having additional marshmallows on his soy milk. This may sound simple but the kindness she showed is well appreciated. If she only knew that we just came out from a major car accident earlier and we were still rattled during that time. Even a simple act of kindness goes a long way. Thank you to that young lady, your deserve a shoutout as your service was superb!”

“It's my favorite bacon and egg pie spot. It was a toss-up between Papa's pies and busy oven bakery in ponsonby, but busy oven use just a little too much pepper in their bacon and egg pies.”

“The burger you’ll get at Cafe Mocha is the greatest you’ll eat in your whole life. The patty seems to be homemade and delicious, and the bun is perfectly toasted but still fresh and soft. The lady that always serves at the counter is an absolute gem.”

“Eaten brunch here a couple of times. Eggs bene and avo on toast. Good both times. Has become a regular stop for a coffee and cake after a dog walk. There are 2 doors, so ordering and counter food is done in the back corner. You can then walk outside to the diner and take a seat. Makes for a nice quiet area to chat while waiting for food as no coffee machine working! Dog friendly and outside seating area for firry friends.”
