“This one worker her name was Jade, I always see her there and she is the best worker I've ever seen. She once helped me out of a locked changing room, helped a little kid after they tripped, got something for this old lady off a tall shelf, hyped up this girl in some shoes she wanted to buy, and even helped this guy pick out a nice scarf for his wife. Once I accidentally was short five dollars and she payed the rest. This girl is amazing and deserves so much more than she is paid. Praise this woman she is beautiful on the inside aswell as the outside.”

“Both of my babies attend Busy Bees Hastings, and I couldn’t be happier with this place! My children go to school very happily and enjoy spending time with their lovely aunties and friends. At first, my youngest was very shy and not familiar with the culture since we are far from our home country. But she was never isolated, the teachers treated her just the same as every other child, with love and care. “This centre is exceptional. It's clean, well organized with staff that truly want the best outcomes for our Tamariki. I felt like part of the family and so well supported from the moment I made contact to enquire right through to enrollment and the transition to the first day. Can't rave enough about this fabulous center. The learning opportunities that are available here and the spaces are next level (it has a pool and even a splash pad.) If your looking for a spot for your child I would strongly suggest getting in touch with the team and it's so close to the centre of town too so the location is ideal”

“Although full restoration of the Municipal Building is incomplete, the Opera House, Foyer and Atrium conversion (to a fully operational function centre) restore the complex to a functional state capable of hosting large events and conferences. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and organised, willing and able to assist from planning to execution of your event. The Opera House acoustics remain world class, the upgrade has improved audience comfort while retaining its Art Deco era appeal. From a technical A/V perspective I did notice a small amount of noise from the venue power supply, but this was easily dealt with.”

“Vital resource staffed by wonderful empathic but realistic people. A safe place. Various classes held and support of needed is there to. I'll say again. A safe place. It's calm and gentle but with events and classes to stimulate. You don't have to be referred. Great spaces for artistic classes plus so much more. If you're in need of info to help protect you, but it's not an emergency as such,( maybe getting there though), these wonderful hard working - Angels in disguise, will not just point you in right direction and hook you up with those you need, they offer comfort to those who were in dire need and no one else to talk to. Trust them. Also just for any lady, Trans or non binary to enrolled in many self improvement classes and creative classes when you thought your creativity had been crushed out of you. Just go visit even if it's just to sit in the sun and have a cup of tea. They are a huge resource. Make use of them.”

“One of the best playgrounds in NZ, splash pad, great slides and climbing structures, variety of swings and lots for even little kids to do as well. Our kids from 2 - 12 could have spent the whole day here”

“This resort has both accommodation and camp sites. It's so far about the normal It's unbelievable. Amazingly luxurious glamping tents, rooms with every amenity and gorgeous facilities. There are lounges and a heated swimming pool with spa bath, a sauna and I've bath in the ample landscaped grounds, and all next door to the boutique 'village' of Havelock North.”

“Went to the Heathers production, absolutely loved it, cute little theater and staff were lovely, coffee/tea and slices provided at intermission included in ticket price. Look forward to seeing future productions at this place”

“So many fun things to do at the park now. Partly sheltered with a sunshade. Skate park and water play area. Large climbing frame and slide. The larger park area contains walking tracks, gym stations and disc golf. There is also a basketball court for hours of fun.”

“One of my favourite places. This place offers alot of variety. We have here the netball courts, soccer & rugby fields, hockey facility, athletics on the track, small stadium & running track around the complex. They is also a bike track for the kids.”

“Lovely playground, includes modern climbing frames and swings, sandpit and slide. There is also a wheelchair roundabout but it appears to be under repair at the moment.”

“A welcoming place. Holds an exercise class with a cuppa afterwards, and there is beginner linedancing that I enjoy. So far the council funds it. Let's hope that continues. Also used to pass on handed-in produce and clothing to people who want it.”

“New art display and new big open field in the central part of town where people can relax with cafes nearby or even a bar just a short walk over the road . Good use of space just needs a couple of nice oak trees put there for shade during the summer time and could be used during blossom parade if they added a couple blossom trees to or near the corner/s”
