Beautiful large park with lots of mature trees to cool things down There is a great children's playground and public toilets. Perfect for a picnic or a quiet walk. Lots of space for a cricket game.
This park is GREAT! The facilities and the playground are amazing! However, there is no gate around the playground and with said playground right next to a creek. It’s hard for parents to have any peace of mind here.
Great place to wind down enjoy the bird life, gardens and playground for kids, take your leftover peas, corn, lettuce, oats, seeds, and cooked or uncooked rice to feed the ducks on your walk through the park the kids will love it. I love coming here it's a beautiful stroll around place.

Awesome park in hastings. Amazing playground for young and older kids. Even a wet play area for those hot sunny days. Nice walkway and bird avary for the kids to look at and turtles as well. Large field for the whole family to have a run around on.

Nice Park! Vaguely reminiscent of Queen Elizabeth in Masterton. Just less water and birds like ducks and gulls. Further exploration required. However, I can already see that it is a great venue for walkers and joggers, and has great potential for picnics and spending time with friends and family.
I've been bringing my kids here for years & the upgrades have been amazing, colorful kids love it, with a nice atmosphere. The Chinese garden , green house & newly done up bird Avery is very nice. Plenty of field space to play ball-rush ☺️. Fantastic park.
Nice and clean, the best kids play ground in the area with lot of activities
Great park! It has the best toddlers playground we've found since moving to the bay. The kids loved it, even the 15 month old, as there's heaps to look at and do. Playground not as good for older kids, but they still have their area and seem to thoroughly enjoy it. Playground also has a splash pad, so will be great on those hot summer days. There is also lots of seating, and plenty of grass area for picnics. The younger kids will also love seeing the ducks in the pond. All round it's a great park, and a must do if you have kids and are in the Hastings area.
