Albert Square is now the home of Rush Munro's Ice Cream bar. They have a large chess board, tables & chairs, awnings for shade and a toilet with baby changing facilities.

Well. Having a Rush Munroe ice cream took me back to a much more simple time. I had my favorite passion fruit and enjoyed it very much. I do hope that you stay there. It is easy to find, just miss the lovely cool garden.

New art display and new big open field in the central part of town where people can relax with cafes nearby or even a bar just a short walk over the road . Good use of space just needs a couple of nice oak trees put there for shade during the summer time and could be used during blossom parade if they added a couple blossom trees to or near the corner/s

This former site of the Albert Hotel is a nice spot of green to go and chill out during the working day. Only wish the chess pieces were left out more often. They have a little stage area so sometimes you may catch a live act. Some nice art on the walls around the sides.
