“I love going to the farm market on Sundays when I'm free. I always find new things like cheeses, salami, pastries, relish that are worth trying. There are also several fresh vegetable options at a good price. It's also a good place for coffee in the morning. I always leave with a bag full of healthy ingredients to consume during the week. An important tip is to bring cash. If you forget, you can exchange it there, paying a fee. Some sellers accept cards. There is also live music, which makes the atmosphere more pleasant. The market is inside a covered area and there is plenty of grass outside if you want to bring your pet. You can also find organic vegetables, options gluten free, plants, flowers, cheese, eggs...”

“One of Hamiltons best bakeries, off the beaten track. Great service. Great selection of food. Raw fish is bomb with fry bread. Awesome for breakfast or lunch. Good size meals for great value for money.”

“This bakery does the best Mocha Frappe. I would literally drive 15mins from home to get my cold coffee here!! All the food in the display cases looked delicious. Purchased muffins, which went down a treat with my client. They prepare hot cooked meals where you can dine in and eat. Prices seemed reasonable, too. Good service seem to be nice people that run/own the bakery.”

“The team at Icing on the cake were absolutely amazing. They took my request and went above and beyond what i expected for my sisterinlaws 50th birthday cake. I was so blown away by the amount of detail that went into this cake and at pretty much at as a last minute cake aswell. More importantly my sisterinlaw loved it. “I recently visited Woolworths St James in Rototuna, Hamilton, NZ, during the evening, and I was really impressed with the quality of the chilled and meat sections. I had a specific list of items I was looking for, and I ended up spending quite a bit of time in these areas, and I’m glad I did! The chilled section was exceptionally well-organized and stocked with a wide variety of fresh products. From dairy items like milk, cheese, and yogurt to fresh deli products, everything was easy to find, and the shelves were neatly arranged. I was particularly impressed by how well-maintained the section was, with everything from fresh salads to frozen meals displayed with great care. The staff was visible in this area, arranging items and making sure everything was in its proper place, but what stood out most was how friendly and helpful they were. Even though they were busy restocking and organizing, they still took the time to greet me and offered to assist when I had questions. Moving on to the meat section, I was equally impressed. The variety of cuts and types of meat was excellent, from premium steaks to sausages and fresh poultry. The staff in this section were very knowledgeable and approachable, offering me guidance on some of the best options for the meal I was planning. They were genuinely welcoming and made me feel comfortable asking questions, even as they were actively arranging the fresh meat on the shelves. Overall, my visit to Woolworths St James was a pleasant experience. The friendly staff in both the chilled and meat sections made the evening shopping feel personal and enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back for both the quality of products and the excellent customer service.”

“Friendly staff, huge variety, lovely meal, so reasonable. We had the scotch filet delicious and cooked believe it or not the way I liked, medium rare. Beautiful garlic butter. We even had raw fish for entre, what a surprise. So sole so nice. Also had great coffee. We were too full to have our strawberry sponge cake so took it home. But so sure it would be yum. Go try it, they also do roast meals.”
