   We are 2 self-proclaimed foodies. Due to our traveling schedule, we decided to just find a convenient place for coffee very early in the morning, and we came across this gem that locals probably frequently come. The flat white is decent, but the pot pie is amazing. We’ve tasted many pies during our visit to New Zealand, and surprisingly this food truck is by far the best. The pastry is buttery, layered and flaky, the dough is springy and soft, the egg and cheese filling is tender, rich with herbs, and dripping. This place is definitely a hidden gem that’s worth your detour! It’s so good that we thought we got to write a review, and hope it someday has her own brick and mortar shop serving this gourmet to more people.

   This little food truck has the BEST pies in NZ (specifically the best pastry). Tried pies all over the north and south islands, including many “award winning” ones, but these were better. Staff is super nice. The coffee and panini sandwiches were also great. Check their hours but if they’re open you must stop here!! There is a picnic table to sit at.
