We were extremely pleased with both the food and the service. Everything was delicious, and we especially loved the dessert and the surprising starter. A wonderful dining experience from start to finish β we will definitely recommend it to our friend!

This review is purely on our experience today...we, being my Mum and myself have been to Titi a number of times over the past 2 years for the Feed Me lunch..today was the 1st time under the new management.....I had booked for 12pm but needed to change to 1pm, so I left a phone message around 10:45am. I received a call back within the hour by the man I now know to be the new owner.....when I answered my phone, he didn't introduce himself or even say where he was calling from.. I just got " um we had a missed call from you!"...I had to ask who he was or where he was ringing me from ...finally he said Titi...so I did think..gosh that's not a great start....he was however very accommodating to the time change. We arrived and had a lovely window seat, the man(owner) we were never told his name...came over with water and then proceeded to get every menu out of the stand and place them all on the table for us...including the cocktails, the wines, feed me, a la carte...it was a bit strange but we went with it.....we explained that mum was allergic to banana and if we both did the Feed Me could she substitute another dessert which he kindly agreed to.....so we both ordered the Feed Me menu. As always the Dicey Chenin Blanc is superb, even at $18 a glass. We also noticed the Feed Me prices had changed, it used to be $45 or $55 with a house glass of wine. Ok so the food.....I'm sorry but it was a let down from what we have experienced in the past. The Haloumi entree was bland and if not for the hummus or chutney and really small broken pieces of lavosh, it was just a slab of cheese on a plate. The beef Cheek was cooked beautifully, the puree nice but quite sweet, and it was just accompanied by some carrots and the dessert...OMG but such a disappointment on a plate...truely underwelming, no colour, no finesse...and the Banana Cremeaux tasted like rotten Bananas that had been frozen...I could not eat it! And the " suprise dessert" for mum, was 3 icecream balls on some biscuit crumb and peanuts...bizarre and boring. We sadly looked back upon photos of previous meals...the colours, the finish, the presentation....unfortunately for us has gone down hill. We understand there can be teething issues when new owners take the reigns...but for us today just missed the mark. We do wish you all the best, but based on today's food we wouldn't return.

We went for the tasting menu experience (five courses) - it was delicious! I wonβt write what the meals were to avoid spoiling the experience but thereβs a mix of fish, pork and beef across all meals. Staff is friendly. No need to worry about the portion sizes - thereβs enough food! Things that could be better: nicer ambiance, like low and warmer lights. A bigger cocktail serve (my negroni finished in two sips). Slightly shorter gaps between some of the courses. They have a beautiful and enourmous fern for decoration though.

Excellent value place for lunch for a one hat rated restaurant. Do not miss having their 3 course set. Amazing value at $41. The quality of the food received for that price is a bargain. Dinner there is also popular, but more expensive and also usually booked out well in advance. In comparison, there were plenty of seats available for a Friday lunch. (My husband and I went in without a booking.) If you get a window seat close to the sea side you can get some good views. After having some polenta in their course meal, we to order it due to how delicious it was. XD

Came to tΔ«tΔ« for lunch today - it was absolutely stunning. First course was a house made tagliatelle with a gorgeous stuffed eggplant roll. Fish course main was beautifully seasoned and wonderfully texturallly interesting. Dessert was delicious and not too heavy. Friendly, warm and knowledgeable service from staff as well. Can't wait to come back to Dunedin and have dinner here!

Our meal was amazing. We are tripping around the beautiful South Island and besides enjoying the magnificent scenery we are visiting top rated restaurants . Titi deserves every accolade it receives . The menu is well planned- Balanced with delicious flavors. From the moment we were presented with our amuse bouche the food never failed to delight . The Ostrich was amazingly tender. I rarely order pork but would do so every time if it was cooked in the way ours was .Service was excellent, knowledgeable .Small wine list but the wines were excellent with a much smaller mark up than we are used to . The meal was equal to the very best of Auckland restaurants . Thank you Titi for enhancing our visit to this beautiful city
