“My now 5 year old spent over 4 years at Annabel’s before recently starting school, she loved her time there she had great bonds with her teachers and peers. My 1 year old is still in the nursery and he loves his teachers they have great ratios and form a close bond with their key teacher. We have been very happy with Annabel’s and the staff! The new centre manager is doing a great job and is supported by a great team of teachers.”

“They have a nice big play rooms and lovely teachers. My son loves to go here and he loves his teachers. I am at peace whenever I am at work knowing that my son is very well taken care of. I like the idea that they are serving healthy meals to the babies, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. Because not all preschool are offering free food. I love how my son is going home with new learnings that he is showing to us. If ever I would have another baby again, I will definitely enroll in best start again ❤️”

I love that the centre is multi cultural also they have amazing indoor and outdoor facilities with plenty of room for little ones to play and learn.”

“PART OF THE FAMILY. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Our first born started attending BSB at 6 months old and was there up to his 3rd birthday (we then moved overseas). Our second born also attended from 6 months as a “casual” spot. I can honestly say that the caretakers at BSB in both the nursery and preschool are PHENOMENAL. The nursery holds a special place in my heart, from the day of our visit the team there made me feel so reassured, and loved. They listened to my concerns or worries (mostly about naptime ha!) and made sure to work on a plan with me that would best suit my child. They were great in providing updates and photos every day and I truly felt like they became part of our family. Same goes for the preschool team - I knew my toddler would transition well from babyhood to toddlerhood with their program for the year and their high attention to individual care. Our move to France further confirmed how great BSB did for building essential foundations for my kids. My son, now attending school in France, has gotten so many compliments on his community-spirit, individuality, independence, and patience which are all traits that BSB contributed to developing during his growth there. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING. We miss you every day and appreciate all the love and care you gave to our family.”

“Words can’t fully express how grateful we are for our time at BestStart Redwood. Our daughter has journeyed through all three rooms from the nursery to Prep-School! And every step of the way has been filled with care, warmth, and support. Even after relocating from Redwood to Hornby, we chose to keep her enrolled because of the strong bond and trust we had with the center and its staff. It wasn’t until we moved overseas that we had to say goodbye, which was truly bittersweet - and we still miss it. The staff at BestStart Redwood have been absolutely incredible. “Fantastic centre, the teachers are invested in our child's educational and emotional wellbeing. Our daughter loves to attend here and the team were supportive and gentle during her transition to preschool. Our 2 yr old currently attends Lyttleton St and this is a great environment for her because the centre only allows up to 3.5yr olds. So my child is with children her own age rather than being in a space with up to 5yr olds.”

“My son is enjoying while he is in school and have the opportunity to play with his colleagues. Salisbury Best Start is the best place because it is very neat and clean also very spacious for kids who love to play outdoor.”

“Our family has been part of Harewood Road Montessori for almost 6 years, with our second child currently attending, and I honestly couldn’t recommend it more. The teachers are warm, friendly, and genuinely attentive to each child’s needs. It’s been wonderful to see how much care they put into helping little ones learn, grow, and gain confidence. Communication with parents is fantastic — we’re always kept up to date through chats, photos, and learning updates. They also take food allergies very seriously, which gives me real peace of mind. The preschool organises lots of fun themed days and cultural celebrations throughout the year. They even had a visit from a police officer recently with police car, and my little one was so excited to tell me all about it! We feel blessed to have found such a wonderful, nurturing place where our children truly thrive.”

The activities and programs for the kids are well-prepared and provide a lot of useful information for parents. “My daughter has been in BS Fendalton for almost a year. She is always happy staying in the center and getting more and more confidence in social skills and preparation for school. As a parent, we are also quite happy to see our child playing, eating and learning all well in here. We are always comfortable to get in touch with any teacher in the center. The four-year group which is a program for preschoolers ready to school, is running so well and my daughter keeps talking about it to us every time she learns new stuff. There are also lots of outside-centre activities each week, from which Children can get chances to be closer to nature and our community. We really recommend families to have their children in here if they are looking for a center nearby.”

“I have been part of the Kindercare Rangiora family for the past seven years. I say family because that's what they make you feel like. They have helped me through the seperation with my husband and made sure my girls always knew they were loved and had a voice of their own. Both my girls are very different but they catered for their needs individually. Always easy to talk to about anything and give a lot of support. At times when I was struggling they always made me feel like I was doing the best I can and that is enough. The whole staff there have definitely been part of my village and I am forever grateful to have been part of that family for so long. It has been a big adjustment to not see them every day, now that both my girls are at school. If you are looking for a safe, fun and loving environment for your kids to be able to grow and learn then I suggest you take them to Kindercare Rangiora and enjoy being part of the family there.”

“My Preschool is fantastic. It feels like you are dropping your little one to a family or friends house for the day. Lovely cosy indoor space with activities galore, a huge outdoor area with real grass (gasp!), vege garden, chickens and plenty of things to keep little minds busy. The staff are lovely and caring and Neill and Denise (the owners) are always present and involved, can't recommend enough!! Our wee man has thrived here :)”

Our oldest daughter and son have moved onto primary school in that time and we felt they were both fully prepared and confident to make the transition after their time at Rosy Cheeks. Our youngest daughter, currently at Rosy Cheeks, also loves her time there. As a parent, the communication from head teacher Kathy is fantastic, and exceeded our expectations during the turmoil and challenges faced over the last 8 years. The daily contact,with each of the amazing teaching team (even when it is a brief word at drop-off or pick up) is very much valued. Rosy Cheeks has definitely met the needs for all 3 of our children and our family, and I would unreservedly recommend it as an Early Learning Centre.”

“All four of our children have attended Te Whare Rama Edinburgh Street, and we have loved the experiences they've had there. As a paediatric occupational therapist, I feel very passionate about places and spaces for children. Specific things I love about Te Whare Rama Edinburgh Street are the natural grass area, vege gardens, and trees outside, large sandpit and well-resourced outdoor play area, a side room for sensory regulation inside, and consistent routines that provide structure to the children's days in amongst the free play opportunities provided. The staff have always been skilled, kind, and patient with the children, and I have valued how faith-based teaching has been interwoven through my children's early education years. Highly recommend!”
