“We came in during the morning tea rush as a family of ten. We were greeted politely by Wes and informed of the wait on kitchen food (always appreciated!!!) We had incredible coffee made by Tania. Then our food was brought out by the friendly Wendy, who thanked us for our patience. The food was out in 15 minutes and made by a single chef named Kim. The food was stunning and the poached eggs were perfect. This was the best experience we have had whilst in Christchurch!! All of the staff went above and beyond and seemed genuinely happy to be there. As someone who works in Hospitality, I know how hard it can be at times.. and understand the pressure Hospo workers have been under lately!! Thank you so much for the best experience!!! (As I am writing this, our plates were promptly cleared by another incredibly polite lady)”

The food was absolutely incredible—their kebab wrap was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The freshly baked bread and flavorful dips were the perfect complement. What truly set this place apart, though, was the outstanding customer service. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable experience. They were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering excellent recommendations. “Second time visiting this place and am glad the first time wasn't a fluke. Service was great, food was amazing and the indoor outdoor flow was great. We had 4 dishes - Crumbed Beef Schnitzel, lamb shank, fish and chips and the vegetarian dumplings. Generous portions for all dishes. Standouts in each meal served. From the light crispy batter on the melt in your mouth fish and chips, to the beautifully slow cooked lamb shank, to the mushroom sauce on the nicely cooked Schnitzel. The sauce for the dumplings was a lovely sesame that really complimented them. The chips served with the fish and Schnitzel were top notch as well. You could tell the oil they were fried in was fresh. Can't wait to take another venture to the Diamond Harbour Eatery and Bar.”

“First time had lunch with my wife today. Many interesting dishes on the lunch menu. My wife ordered the Fuji special dumpling set menu $22. It cames with small plates of pickle, bokchoi, fruit, vinegar and chili sauce. The dumplings were reasonable size full of meat and tasty. I ordered the HK style soya chicken leg$15.99 also cames with little plates of pickles, bokchoi, fruit and a small bowl of seaweed soup and rice. I have to asked the friendly waitress to have the chicken leg chopped up as it cames out whole. We enjoyed our meals and the friendly services of the waitress. Will come back to try their dinner as there are lots interesting dishes on the dinner menu.”

“We devoured the chicken skewer with naan and lamb shank meal. The meal came with salad, garlic and mint dip. Ordered chicken curry as well (that tasted nothing like Indian curry), that was so good. The doogh though, is worth the extra mention. Doogh is the version of laban or ayran to some countries / cultures. A must try! We went back a week later to satisfy another bout of craving.”
