“Beststart has some of the most calming and easy to communicate stuff members. Their goals of early childhood education is clear and direct and easy to follow along with, especially for the growth of your children.I would recommend highly to anyone who needs a pre-school/Daycare. One thing I struggled with was money but Best Start offers affordable daycare. Very thankful to have them so close to home ♡”

“Highly recommended for everyone in the family. A beautiful free (donations are welcome) museum, filled with far more aircrafts than we initially expected. Lots to read and discover, displays were well put together and the pacing through the exhibits is perfect. If you need a break, there is a simple cafe, a lovely little gift shop and peaceful grounds. Wish we had more time to explore this past visit. We will have to set aside more time the next visit!”

“They have a nice big play rooms and lovely teachers. My son loves to go here and he loves his teachers. I am at peace whenever I am at work knowing that my son is very well taken care of. I like the idea that they are serving healthy meals to the babies, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. Because not all preschool are offering free food. I love how my son is going home with new learnings that he is showing to us. If ever I would have another baby again, I will definitely enroll in best start again ❤️”

“PART OF THE FAMILY. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Our first born started attending BSB at 6 months old and was there up to his 3rd birthday (we then moved overseas). Our second born also attended from 6 months as a “casual” spot. I can honestly say that the caretakers at BSB in both the nursery and preschool are PHENOMENAL. The nursery holds a special place in my heart, from the day of our visit the team there made me feel so reassured, and loved. They listened to my concerns or worries (mostly about naptime ha!) and made sure to work on a plan with me that would best suit my child. They were great in providing updates and photos every day and I truly felt like they became part of our family. Same goes for the preschool team - I knew my toddler would transition well from babyhood to toddlerhood with their program for the year and their high attention to individual care. Our move to France further confirmed how great BSB did for building essential foundations for my kids. My son, now attending school in France, has gotten so many compliments on his community-spirit, individuality, independence, and patience which are all traits that BSB contributed to developing during his growth there. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING. We miss you every day and appreciate all the love and care you gave to our family.”

“I can’t recommend the lead climbing course with Will highly enough. I’d done the course before and the instructor was really knowledgeable, but found the information a bit overwhelming. This time, Will paced the learning really well and gave us heaps of hands-on practice, which made all the difference. By the time we made it onto the crag at the end of the second course, we all felt confident, safe, and comfortable lead climbing and cleaning. Will’s a fantastic instructor—friendly, fun, and incredibly knowledgeable—but what stood out most was his ability to teach in a way that supports genuine understanding and long-term retention. He doesn’t just tell you what to do—he helps you understand why you're doing it, which made everything click. Loved it from start to finish and would absolutely recommend to anyone wanting to build solid skills and confidence in the centre as well as on the rock.”

“The hall is very clean and huge. It can handle more events and the centre can accommodate a huge number of people. Has securities so it can help to keep children sage and behave.”

“Our room was clean, modern, and had everything we needed. It's a busy area but still quiet. Walking distance to a really nice mall and McDonald's. The people running it are very nice and helpful. I definetly recommend staying here. We used points to stay, but the regular price is really good!!!!”

“Fantastic centre, the teachers are invested in our child's educational and emotional wellbeing. Our daughter loves to attend here and the team were supportive and gentle during her transition to preschool. Our 2 yr old currently attends Lyttleton St and this is a great environment for her because the centre only allows up to 3.5yr olds. So my child is with children her own age rather than being in a space with up to 5yr olds.”

“Beautiful place to visit. Lots of pretty rocks and gems to find, beautiful views. Also, lots of ignorant people are getting waaay to close to the water. I'm surprised more people aren't swept away. Whoever is in charge needs to hurry up and fix the toilets. The portaloos are disgusting!”

“Leaps and Bounds is the most amazing preschool. Our son has absolutely thrived while he has been there. Teachers are awesome and supportive. “Great fun for all ages. My daughters loved the pony rides. They were a bit nervous, but the people working the pony rides were so nice and made my girls comfortable and have an awesome time. Lots of other beautiful and interesting animals to see and feed.”
