The center is run by Kerryn, who is not only professional but is kind, empathetic and went above and beyond to support us as a whanau. The staff are absolutely amazing!! I could confidently go to work knowing my kids were safe and well taken care of. Thank you to the team for the outstanding services provided. A special shout out to Ayanthi and Tegan who are phenomenal teachers, who have helped my kids thrive and who my kids absolutely love! Five stars for sure!!”

“We are so happy with both the nursery and preschool. The teachers show such a genuine and caring interest in my children and are passionate about supporting their learning. My son initially struggled with friendships and the teachers did an amazing job at discussing this with me and supporting him to make friends. I will be sad for his time to end there when he goes to school, but am thankful my daughter can continue on there. I highly recommend Te Whare Rama Balcairn Street!!”

“The education and care for our two children are Kindercare Bishopdale has been outstanding. They have both felt loved, secure, safe and have learned so much across the board. All teachers and staff are incredibly friendly and have always been strong on communication and creating relationships with not just the children, but us as parents as well. Nutritious hot meals are a great bonus (how lucky are the kids getting fresh fruit crumble out of the oven?!)”

“Both of our daughters went to Kindercare Wigram from when they were 6months old until they started school. Every one of the teachers and support staff always made us feel welcome each day, staff were always approachable and the communication was amazing. Our girls were loved and cared for each day and their days were full of fun and different learning activities and opportunities. The transition to school from preschool was seamless and they were well prepared for school thanks to the amazing teachers at Kindercare. We have made lifelong friends from families at preschool and my daughters always love going back for a catch up.”

“Beststart has some of the most calming and easy to communicate stuff members. Their goals of early childhood education is clear and direct and easy to follow along with, especially for the growth of your children.I would recommend highly to anyone who needs a pre-school/Daycare. One thing I struggled with was money but Best Start offers affordable daycare. Very thankful to have them so close to home ♡”

“We visited a lot of daycares in the area and chose the YMCA because we loved the community feel. The kids are always out and about, taking part in activities and visiting places like the gym, library and park. Our daughter took some time settling in but the teachers have been wonderful with her and now she has really found her feet and has made some great friends. We love the Y :)”

My 1 year old is still in the nursery and he loves his teachers they have great ratios and form a close bond with their key teacher. We have been very happy with Annabel’s and the staff! The new centre manager is doing a great job and is supported by a great team of teachers.”

“They have a nice big play rooms and lovely teachers. My son loves to go here and he loves his teachers. I am at peace whenever I am at work knowing that my son is very well taken care of. I like the idea that they are serving healthy meals to the babies, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. Because not all preschool are offering free food. I love how my son is going home with new learnings that he is showing to us. If ever I would have another baby again, I will definitely enroll in best start again ❤️”

“PART OF THE FAMILY. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Our first born started attending BSB at 6 months old and was there up to his 3rd birthday (we then moved overseas). Our second born also attended from 6 months as a “casual” spot. I can honestly say that the caretakers at BSB in both the nursery and preschool are PHENOMENAL. The nursery holds a special place in my heart, from the day of our visit the team there made me feel so reassured, and loved. They listened to my concerns or worries (mostly about naptime ha!) and made sure to work on a plan with me that would best suit my child. They were great in providing updates and photos every day and I truly felt like they became part of our family. Same goes for the preschool team - I knew my toddler would transition well from babyhood to toddlerhood with their program for the year and their high attention to individual care. Our move to France further confirmed how great BSB did for building essential foundations for my kids. My son, now attending school in France, has gotten so many compliments on his community-spirit, individuality, independence, and patience which are all traits that BSB contributed to developing during his growth there. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING. We miss you every day and appreciate all the love and care you gave to our family.”

“Fantastic centre, the teachers are invested in our child's educational and emotional wellbeing. Our daughter loves to attend here and the team were supportive and gentle during her transition to preschool. Our 2 yr old currently attends Lyttleton St and this is a great environment for her because the centre only allows up to 3.5yr olds. So my child is with children her own age rather than being in a space with up to 5yr olds.”
