   Our daughter has been at Titoki for 2.5 years (from 3.5 to 6 y.o.) and always felt welcomed and supported in her journey of practical and social life development, and English improvement. My wife is a Montessori-trained ECE teacher, and she confirms that Titoki provides a well-prepared Montessori environment and follows the Montessori method precisely. Special thanks for sharing our daughter’s learning stories. They were always meaningful, full of photos and next steps, linked to Te Whāriki.    My child came to Titoki when he was about four and a half years old. After a year and a half, I saw very positive changes in him. He is less aggressive, more considerate, more independent and autonomous, and thinks about things. Another surprise is his learning. He has a strong interest in mathematics, and with the careful company of the teacher, he is trying to master phonics (he didn't know English when he came to Titoki). He now tries to write words by himself. Thank you very much to the teachers of Titoki and the environment created by everyone. It turns out that it is very suitable for children. I sincerely recommend Titoki to everyone. The environment, community and teachers here have a positive impact on children.

   Titoki Montessori Preschool has provided a fantastic foundation for both our children. Our older son attended from age 3 to 6, and our daughter is currently a student, having started at age 3 as well. We were unsure at first about the 3-year program but found that the final year at Titoki is especially critical, as the 5-year-olds become leaders for the younger children, which builds their confidence and fosters a sense of responsibility. We felt our son had the chance to learn and develop more during his last year at Titoki than he would have if he had gone to primary school at 5. Our son transitioned seamlessly into primary school at age 6 and was ahead of the primary school curriculum. Both our kids have received an incredible foundation at Titoki, with amazing teachers and exceptional learning materials, Titoki has everything in place for children to develop, while providing a great sense of community. Both of our kids have been very happy there and have enjoyed the learning process immensely. Titoki is an excellent example of the results achievable with the Montessori method.

   The best and most authentic Montessori preschool in Auckland! Both my children went to this school for the full 3 years and they absolutely thrived. Although they are both at school now, they still talk about Titoki frequently and go visit. I can't imagine a better start to their educational journey. All the staff are extremely knowledgeable in Montessori philosophy and do a fantastic job delivering an authentic programme. As a Montessori teacher myself, I am truly grateful for the level of care, effort and education Titoki provides. Children acquire skills for life at this preschool! As my 6 year old said "Titoki is the best school ever!"

   My girl has been going to Titoki Montessori for about 3-4 months now and she loves all the skills she’s learning; cutting, pouring, drawing, painting, doing the buttons etc. I also like the fact that she’s actually doing something useful rather than just playing. I do believe in learning from playing etc. but I also like the idea of learning other valuable skills, especially in this winter season when they have no choice but to stay inside. Teachers have been there for a few years which tells me that they are happy there, one of important things to look when choosing the right place for our children. When teachers are happy, I believe our children are also happy to be in such positive environment. We are very happy that we met Titoki and amazing teachers there who value our children’s interest and happiness in learning new skills.

   Our older daughter has recently graduated from Titoki Montessori after completing her 3 year programme. It is a fantastic learning environment with authentic Montessori materials and the best teaching staff you can ask for! All the teachers are AMI trained or in the process of completing their AMI. The teachers genuinely care about the children's' learning and development. We have regular parent teacher interviews, learning story updates and formal school reports. What we really loved about Titoki is the foundation it set up to prepare the children's learning journey. The school values grace and courtesy, being kind, be safe, and encourages the love for learning. These value set up a strong foundation in the critical years of our daughter's early development. We can't wait for our younger son to start his Montessori journey at Titoki.

   Our son has recently graduated from Titoki Montessori. He absolutely loved his time there and we are very glad that we chose this preschool. He was well prepared for starting Primary School, having completed his three year Montessori cycle. The teachers and staff at Titoki provide a very caring, supportive and nurturing environment. The buildings and grounds are perfect for children to enjoy both the indoors and outdoors. We are so lucky to have such a high quality, authentic Montessori option right here in Torbay.
