Freyberg Preschool is an awesome kindy. The teachers are kind, motivated and care about creating a sense of belonging and getting the tamariki ready for a transition to school. Fully recommend.
Best kindy in the area. Amazing environment with lots of natural and open ended resources. Excellent teachers, fully committed to their job and who are always trying to bring the best out of all children.
This school is the worst, avoid it at all cost! I'm glad my daughter doesn't go thereany more! Some teachers there think they living in the 1950's when verbal abuse was an acceptable tool when raising children. The principal, Maria doesnt like any criticism, not open to constructive feedback. Luckily that agressive teacher Mrs Buddles has retired, she was the worst; aweful person.
Fabulous preschool, my son has been so happy here! Lots of rich play and learning experiences supported by knowledgeable and caring teachers. When your child is ready, there is excellent preparation for school, done in a gentle way to aid a smooth transition. Highly recommend!
