“My daughter learned a lot from this day care. Teachers helped her to achieve her goals one by one. She is growing her skills to join school soon. I have noticed big change when she started and now she understands the way how to engage socially and how to listen her teachers and sit properly in the class. Well done all kauri room teachers. “This is for the Kindergarten. For years ive searched for a good kindy for my kids ive settled on this ine. We sid have a little misunderstanding and a miscommunication at the begining but we've gone over that and cleared the air. I picked this Kindy because they are clean and they keep up with it all day every day. The setting is super the ladys are understanding and qualified, they are spoilt with plenty of support teachers that will take the load off looking after the childeen so you know your kids will have an eye on them most times. Also the setting is quite good, flat settings with quite safe stairways leading outside, mostly covered play area outside, they keep the sand pit clean and tidy by picking up the toys everytime the kids have finished playing with them, if your child has ezcema i tell you it wont be so bad so relax the toys are always picked up and aired, supervision is a must at the water pump area. There is always someone outside with the children. The lunches are put in the fridge, ive seen the lady prepare the morning tea so relax its quite safe for the kids, the head teacher Jill is always onto it with the hygiene side of things, everyone there has a role and im happy. The girls are friendly, i find you just need to communicate openly its the only way they will know more about you and your child. So if youre someone like me who has OCD and cleans their house with bleach sending your children out to the world will be hard but to feel normal at it this Kindy gives you a piece of mind. Of course at the beginning my child was always sick but getting education from Drs and the education board/ministry helps you understand that its quite normal for your kids to get sick at the begining with viral infections, and it'll be worst if you struggle living with OCD. So for us who has this problem take it from me ive found what works in my situation, right now we are quite at home with this daycare. We find with everywhere you go Communication is always key. Good luck on choosing a daycare for your child though but this one is good. Ill say its the best even though its in Otara. Trust me ive tried Ormiston with the fancy things but it just didn't work for us. Neither circumstances nor surroundings can bring contentment. Only by fitting ourselves to meet conditions as they are, we must see not the location but the people who coukd make a difference and add to your childs journey through life, so chosing a good day care is a must for your child.”

“Our 2-year-old daughter attended this Kindergarten for nearly a year, and our experience was absolutely wonderful. The staff were incredibly supportive, and the teachers were always attentive and caring. Our daughter loved being there and connected with everyone. The playground is spacious and filled with engaging activities that helped her develop motor skills and stay active. We only moved her to another Kindergarten due to logistical challenges with our work schedules. We’re truly grateful for the time our daughter spent here and highly recommend this Kindergarten to other families.”

“My daughter has been attending Wee Wisdom Montessori Drury since November 2024, and previous to her joining she had been enrolled to several other daycares, kindergarten etc and not one of those centres did she enjoy more than she enjoys Wee Wisdom! They have taken the time to get to know our son and he is excited to go to Preschool each day. “I cannot recommend New Shoots Coatesville highly enough. Our little one started at eight months & from our first visit we felt so confident in the wonderful team looking after her. She absolutely loved her time at the Centre & we felt so happy about her care, experiences & opportunities. The imaginative & varied activities have been wonderful, she slept better at daycare than home & the homecooked food was a huge hit. Every single member of staff is a credit to the Centre. We also loved our daily updates on the Storypark app. The team were great at adapting & focusing on individual children's needs & we have seen our little one blossom during her time with the team. We have left the area & so New Shoots & leaving was the hardest part of our move. Our next daycare has so much to live up to! Thank you to the whole team.”

“Casa Montessori is one of the best Montessori pre school that i have seen in New Zealand. Teachers are excellent l, caring loving and very organised, environment is really tidy and clean and also methodical. My son loved going to Casa everyday and he was well prepared for the school by the teachers. Centre manager Sonali was amazing and very kind a caring soul. The learning stories were amazing as they were really comprehensive and detailed with plenty of pictures and i loved reading them when there were uploaded. They had a practical skills area, science, maths language and literacy, so STEAM activities, music, painting, geography & physical activities too. They even did baking , making dumplings with kids.. i have never found a place like Casa Montessori even in the south island of New Zealand to enrol my daughter after my son . I think Casa Montessori has set the bar very high for all the Montessori preschools around New Zealand. Well done! Keep up the good work Casa Montessori! Love this place so much Highly recommend them to everyone all in all great place❤️”

“My two children LOVE it here! They learn so much and have gained so many new friends that they rave on about in high regard. The teachers are so beautiful in the way they teach and nurture our children. Since attending this childcare centre my babies have excelled so much in general, from the way they communicate to singing songs and even reading/familiarising themselves with particular words and spelling. It's been amazing to watch the staff here implement everything that's done at home and even taught me ideas, as a solo Mum, on what else I can do, just by seeing how much my babies enjoy the work and play they do here at Early Discoveries. My neice and nephews have attended in previous years and have only amazing and treasured memories of the place. From previous staff to new staff employed, they all have the same nature about them and genuinely work together to aim for the best start our babies can have before heading off to big school. I would reccomend this centre 100% to any parent wanting the best, love felt environment for their children, where they have firm attentive teachers/carers who balance your child's experience with freedom to explore, to learn and have fun!”

“My kids love it here, best place for them. Is a bit different to a kindy in that the parents are the educators. There is quite a bit of commitment required to do all the training but is nzqa qualified. Also as you progress you have to do office holder roles which take time, but for the joy of spending time with your kids and with other people's kids and getting to know the community is well worth it.”
