“This one gave me a very clean and warm impression. The teachers who take care of the children are very responsible! There are a lot of toys for the children. It is very clean and spacious. It is not like some old kindergartens that get dirty after a long time. In short, the children are happy and I feel relieved. I recommend it~~”

“My youngest has been with Kumeu childcare centre since he was 7 months old. He's 3 years old now. Leaving him in care was so hard and something I truly didn't want to do, but I'm sure a lot of us can relate to needing to work to get by. The teachers in the baby room were reassuring and loving. They worked with me to make us both comfortable. They allowed him the space to explore his interests, which can't have been easy as they mostly circled around how fast and how high could he go. He's been through the middle room and is now in the big kids room and the experience has been consistent. Collaboration, genuine care. My little boy is a bundle of energy, hes fast, hes daring, hes loud, and they honour this in him and provide a safe environment to develop in. Both the teaching and administration team have shown great care and compassion for us both over the years and I am so grateful to them all for taking such good care of my wee man.”

My girl Sela has been with them for 3-4yrs & I can say with a big passion that myself & my daughter really enjoyed our time there. She turns 5 in a few days & she’ll be off to primary next week! A lot of mixed emotions right now but it’s safe to say that without the help of the staff at Ranui Christian Preschool, Sela wouldn’t be the confident, goal achieving & bright little girl she is today. “I can’t speak highly enough of Shining Stars . It has been an absolute blessing for our whānau. The ECC teachers go above and beyond for our tamariki, showing incredible patience, compassion, and dedication to teaching them so much more than I ever expected. They nurture not just learning but also confidence, curiosity, and kindness. I love how they celebrate every child’s uniqueness and encourage them every step of the way. The themed days like Wheels Day are always a hit with the kids, and it’s clear the teachers put a lot of thought and care into creating fun, educational experiences. From hatching chickens to learning how make use of eggs , gardening, baking, cooking ,the hands-on learning is just beautiful to witness. My little ones are always coming home with new knowledge and stories to share. It gives me peace of mind knowing they’re in such a safe, caring, and inspiring environment. I currently have both my youngest enrolled, and I honestly feel so lucky to have found Shining Stars when I did. Each morning drop-off comes with a little sadness, knowing we’re one day closer to saying goodbye when they move on to primary school. A special thank you to Mandy and Liz who always provide thoughtful updates and feedback about what the kids are learning and how we can keep it going at home. You can tell the team really loves what they do, and honestly, I couldn’t imagine our kids going anywhere else. Total legends! “I cannot recommend New Shoots Coatesville highly enough. Our little one started at eight months & from our first visit we felt so confident in the wonderful team looking after her. She absolutely loved her time at the Centre & we felt so happy about her care, experiences & opportunities. The imaginative & varied activities have been wonderful, she slept better at daycare than home & the homecooked food was a huge hit. Every single member of staff is a credit to the Centre. We also loved our daily updates on the Storypark app. The team were great at adapting & focusing on individual children's needs & we have seen our little one blossom during her time with the team. We have left the area & so New Shoots & leaving was the hardest part of our move. Our next daycare has so much to live up to! Thank you to the whole team.”
