My kid had the most heartwarming and enriching experience here! From the moment she started, we felt such a sense of warmth and care from all the teachers. It was clear that every child was nurtured with genuine love and attention. It offered a fantastic range of activities that kept the children engaged and excited to learn. We also really appreciated the holiday programs available during the school breaks, which provided a fun and safe environment for the kids. One of the most special things was the diary kept for our kid from her very first day. By the time she graduated, we had a beautiful memory book filled with precious moments and milestones. This thoughtful touch is something we will always treasure. We highly recommend to any parents looking for a nurturing, engaging, and supportive environment for their child's early years. Our son attended Papakura first Presbyterian Pre School for more than 2 years and Pre School and the teachers changed our life. We faced many challenges in finding a good preschool where our child would be cared for and loved by the teachers. As our kid is Autistic his behaviour was a challenge and we understood that but once he join the Presbyterian Pre School his behaviour was totally changed. He started sitting with kids , started playing with them , followed all the routine and its all because of the Teachers and the environment of First Presbyterian PreSchool. Teachers are amazing and specially for us we finally felt that our child is loved at the PreSchool. Sometimes small little things make a huge difference and Papakura First Presbyterian PreSchol is all about that. I want to say Big Thank you to Melanie Whitham and all the teachers of Presbyterian PreSchool for everything they did for our kid. Every teacher is very professional and knowledgeable and has a great understanding of dealing with kids and very friendly and family environment. When we dropped our kid in the morning we felt welcome and we knew our kid is in great hands and more importantly that our kid is safe , learning and is loved by the teachers. Thank you Melanie and all the teachers for changing our life. Last but not least , even though he has been in school for two years now , they still check in on him to see how he’s adjusting and doing. It feels wonderful to receive their messages, knowing they still remember him and care about him THANK YOU
This really is a very special preschool. I’m so glad to have found it. Such a calm, caring place for our children to be. The teachers are lovely, the grounds and play area are beautiful, and it’s a very welcoming environment.
My kid goes to Papakura first Presbyterian pre school and we are so grateful to all the teachers and staff of the Pre School. All the teachers are very friendly and skilled. Will definitely recommend it anyone who is looking for a Good Pre School.
Our kids have had great experiences here over the last 5 years. Really caring staff. Friendly environment. Good structures and boundaries for the kids. Time to explore and be creative but also structured mat times which assist transition to school.

Really pleased with the care and education our son receives from his pre-school. Staff are attentive and caring, and really give their best for each individual child and their needs. I would recommend this pre-school to anyone looking for a truly awesome pre-school.
Where to start!! We had tried a daycare for a couple of weeks with my 2.5yr old and I could tell he wasn’t happy and he was just considered another ‘number’. Our first day at First Church Preschool and I knew he was in wonderful hands. The teaching team really care about each and every child and their personal development. This is a great centre focused on great values. Very clean and tidy with great resources. I couldn’t recommend this pre-school enough! Looking forward to my daughter being able to join one day too :-)
