“Went there already twice. Loved the food, it's really Japanese cooked by Japanese. And it's not expensive at all ! Takoyaki were really good. The cold udon could use a little bite more soup to it.”
“I went here on a Wednesday around 6p, the food was great. i had the lemon chicken and a portion for one was more than enough. plus the broccoli was sooo delicious that i want to try to make when i get back home. there was plenty of seating options available”
“Been here a few times now, decent size fish, perfectly done, crab sticks good, perhaps the chips can beat bit more crispy, but that's personal taste. Reasonably priced.”
“massive portions of food service was amazing staff were lovely and friendly we had such a good time the food and dinner experience was 10/10 we will be back again”
“Really enjoyed our food - delicious! Didnt wait long for food to be served. Good service and clean. Relaxing atmosphere, we sat abit to chat and we weren't rushed to leave straight after eating. Good value for food.”
“If you haven't been to Valentine's within the last year than you probably don't know how much it has improved. From the service, atmosphere to the food itself, it is really amazing. They've pretty much made themselves into the Valentine's in North shore, but now we don't have to make the trip all the way out there for a good quality Valentines. We had dinner here, they have a live chef that cooks lamb, steak, chicken or whatever you want from the glass cabinet. A great selection of hot foods and even a seafood boil with crab, prawns and mussels. Unlimited prawns, oysters and mussels mmm what more could you ask for! Overall, 10/10 and I couldn't recommend it anymore to others. Thank you for the awesome service Alpana!”
“I recently visited the BurgerFuel branch in Manukau, and I have to say, it was an overall great experience with just a few things worth noting. First and foremost, the quality of the food really stood out. The burgers are clearly made fresh to order – you can taste the difference as soon as you take the first bite. The ingredients are vibrant and full of flavour, and nothing feels like it’s been sitting under a heat lamp. The patties were juicy, the sauces were well-balanced, and the buns held up nicely without getting soggy. One thing I appreciated in particular is that their chicken burgers are made using free-range chicken, which is a big plus for me. It’s good to know that they’re making more ethical choices when it comes to sourcing their ingredients, and it definitely adds to the quality and taste of the meal. You get that clean, tender bite that’s hard to find in fast food. The staff were friendly and the service was quick despite it being a busy time when I went in. The place was clean and had that classic BurgerFuel vibe – edgy, modern, and well-kept. It’s a cool spot to grab a bite, whether you’re eating in or taking it to go. That said, the only downside for me would be the price. While I understand you’re paying for quality and the use of free-range meat, the burgers are a bit on the pricey side compared to other burger joints in the area. You’re easily looking at over $20 for a burger and fries combo, and that’s before any drinks or extras. So it’s not the kind of place I’d visit on a tight budget or for a casual everyday meal. But for an occasional treat or if you’re after a burger that’s a cut above the rest, it’s definitely worth it.”
“Haven’t been here for years but finally went back last week for my mum’s birthday and it was just like old times. Genghis Khan will never disappoint. Good value for money with variety of meat and vegetables to cook your nice yummy meal. Staff always so prompt and helpful. My go to restaurant for a lazy feed. Also you get to dine for $1 only if it’s your birthday and you have at least 3 paying adults. Thank you for your amazing service over the many years.”
“Always good and consistent. Servings are huge and the flavours are good.”
“The food here is the best. I advise the mummy pork ribs and the tom yum fish head noodles. Most importantly, the food is super duper yummy. There aren't many tables. You can pretty much walk in and get a table during non-peak hours. Otherwise amazing.”
“Always a pleasant experience shopping here. Same layout format as any other CD with Public Convenience at Checkout. Lotto onsite. Large carpark right outside.”
“Fruit is always well priced and perfectly ripe. Best in the area by far. Worth a visit A+++++”
“Great coffee, always amazing service, and they have great cabinet food. Often have mini pizzas, toasted sandwiches, and pies etc. 100% recommended.”
“5+ This business is incredible. They have amazing Tea's (our favourite is the Butterfly Blue Pea Flower). They aim to be sustainable, (naked packs as well as within tubes). The service is incredible and price is incredibly reasonable. You will not be disappointed if you chose to purchase through this company.”
“I rely on this store for my ingredient needs due to its convenience”
“I come in most days and there’s always a great selection of food and treats to choose from not to mention the awesome underground coffee.”
“Great coffee and excellent home made pies (the pastry is soo good), yummy cakes and slices and sandwiches.”
“The best roast pork in a sandwich, roll or as a meal. Could eat it every day”
“Great staff And wonderful selection of scotch and whiskeys”
The kitchen at Paulie's Kitchen takes a classic fish‑and‑chips path and lets the food speak. Views add a quiet lift to the visit. Grill work shows a clean sear and rested meats. Pricing lines up with the offer.
“Amazing dairy, love the staff, they are extremely friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend coming.”

“Located inside the Danone Nutricia building, a world-famous dairy company, Thai Nee Cafe is open to the public. Its menu features authentic Thai and Japanese cuisine, made by Thai chefs. My personal favorite is the Thai Noodle. Opened 13 years ago by a Japanese owner who has been working in Auckland cafes for over 20 years, this cafe is a long-time friend of mine. The Thai food is delicious, and the affordable prices for hearty meals like Thai Ginger Pork, Thai Noodles, and Thai Curry are a real draw. The landlord is the large Danone company, and the cafeteria is also available, allowing for affordable prices. While the location caters to those working at nearby factories, these prices and quality food are hard to come by in Auckland's current climate, so it's worth making the effort to visit.”
