Disgusting!! Walked in and I had to walk back out. I did order our food but as I was about to pay I noticed the workers weren’t wearing no gloves no hair nets also standing around talking over the food they were preparing. Cooking area was NOT clean and tidy, crumbs food and rubbish on the ground and around the bin. The cheese for the cheesey fries had a brown crust forming on the top. I was very disappointed because I wanted to try the cheesey fries.

Great burgers as usual, fun to meet friends there, but it was very cold and the door just kept being left open!! Always a go to - Burger Fuel - 3 of us are gluten free - so perfect.

I recently visited the BurgerFuel branch in Manukau, and I have to say, it was an overall great experience with just a few things worth noting. First and foremost, the quality of the food really stood out. The burgers are clearly made fresh to order – you can taste the difference as soon as you take the first bite. The ingredients are vibrant and full of flavour, and nothing feels like it’s been sitting under a heat lamp. The patties were juicy, the sauces were well-balanced, and the buns held up nicely without getting soggy. One thing I appreciated in particular is that their chicken burgers are made using free-range chicken, which is a big plus for me. It’s good to know that they’re making more ethical choices when it comes to sourcing their ingredients, and it definitely adds to the quality and taste of the meal. You get that clean, tender bite that’s hard to find in fast food. The staff were friendly and the service was quick despite it being a busy time when I went in. The place was clean and had that classic BurgerFuel vibe – edgy, modern, and well-kept. It’s a cool spot to grab a bite, whether you’re eating in or taking it to go. That said, the only downside for me would be the price. While I understand you’re paying for quality and the use of free-range meat, the burgers are a bit on the pricey side compared to other burger joints in the area. You’re easily looking at over $20 for a burger and fries combo, and that’s before any drinks or extras. So it’s not the kind of place I’d visit on a tight budget or for a casual everyday meal. But for an occasional treat or if you’re after a burger that’s a cut above the rest, it’s definitely worth it.

5 out of 5. Service was okay, a smile can go a long way. Apart from that the venue was clean and tidy. I did not see any toilets but i didn’t look to hard for them. We waited 6-7mins for our order. Chips were hot, aioli space was yummy, we got C n Cheese burgers and chocolate shakes. Always on point with the food and shakes! Exciting to see more flavours added to the shakes menu. It was mainly just me and hubby in the restaurant eating. We were there for approx 40mins. The music was up quite loud so we struggled to converse, so we ended up texting each other instead. It is quite expensive, so expect to be spending over $40 per person for a burger, chips and drink. Apart from that, we really enjoyed our dinner. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic! Great portion burger with every bite filled with flavor! Big highlight for this place are the lime thickshakes, these guys do it justice! Definitely a gem of NZ that you need to try!

Food - average. Better burgers from other stores. Ordered one of the special burgers and was meant to get free fries but was charged for fries, then given a free drink which cost even less. Second burger in the order - missing avocado. Told the staff member and they said "what a shame you only noticed it half way through the burger", took it with them, then smeared lots of avocado on the part where the burger was munched into. Service - below par as above. Atmosphere - ruined by the very sticky tables and floor, ripped seating that was also broken. Definitely wouldn't recommend dining in and at a stretch will even say go to Botany where you'll get better service and food.

We get this once a month for work and is always at least 4stars good. However today was a different story. Ordered the Hybrid burger instead of my usual American Muscle Double and was a bit let down at the difference between the advertisement and what I actually got.

Been coming for years. Sometimes staff don't seem bothered or happy to be serving you. Burgers are great but sometimes a bit greasy. Strawberry thick shake is the best in the city though!

Lots of parking but very busy so was a little hard to find a close park. Bit of a wait but good service. Loved my burger, hubby was ok with his but didn't feel it was worth almost $18. Kumara chips were yum, but again, quite pricey for the amount ($7 for a carton and aioli). Glad I tried it once, but not sure I'll go back often due to the price ($40 for 2 burgers and kumara fries)
