Even though he’s moving to school, and his teacher is going to be his mum he still wanted to stay at kindy where “he was so happy”. I feel that the teachers deep love and respect for their tamariki is illustrated in my son’s statement as he was so sad to leave his favourite place. Kindy isn’t just a space place for the children but a space for the whole family to be connected to the thriving community and culture that envelopes Parakai Kindergarten. As a mother and a teacher I could not recommend Parakai Kindy enough and only wish I had sent my older son there too.”
