“Both of our boys attended Stepping Stones and they were always keen to go. I was always confident that they were safe and happy there. What I found most impressive about the teaching team is that they are continuously improving. They frequently seek feedback and try new ways of approaching communication with parents, and engaging the children. Their backyard area is a great example of frequent innovation to cater to the children's different interests and their short attention spans! I really enjoyed an evening event that a few of the teachers held for parents of the older children. The teachers introduced themselves and talked to us about their approach to planning and executing lessons with the children. And they let us try out some of the exercises - it was good fun and a great way to understand how the learning objectives connect with play. There are also great additional activities available to the children such as Playball, Yoga and Dance - which both of my children have really enjoyed. I thoroughly recommend Stepping Stones.”

“Riverhead Montissori is and has been an amazing daycare for my three children. Reminiscent of a kindy, with a well loved environment and wholesome teaches, while still maintaining the child/teacher ratio and morning routine of a traditional Montissori daycare. The centre is well run and flexible, Rachel in admissions is seemingly always available and accomodating. Due to its community values and small country setting I feel that my children have very personalised care. For our family in particular we appreciate that there is always a very calm and happy atmosphere at drop off, I feel that this encourages my children to start a piece of work and allow me to leave without them getting overwhelmed or sad. My children also enjoy the mix of ages within the classrooms, being able to learn from those older than them and care/teach those who are younger. We cannot recommend Riverhead Montissori enough.”

“Very nicely maintained and curated small park in the middle of the busy Takapuna area. There is a decent sized kids play area along with white a few benches to sit and relax. The canopy cover is pleasent and refreshing. Public toilets are also available in the park. The location is easily accessible from anywhere in Takapuna.”

“The large grassy area is lined with paths and trees. It leads to the Memorial Steps from the carpark. the steps lead to the bistro area with the Acacia Cottage. There is quite a large area to run around and play or take photos, particularly at the base of the different trees.”

“I wish there was an option to give 10 STARS. Amazing Team at the childcare. Kids from different ethnicities shared an amazing bond. All credit goes to Alka and her team. Jean used to pick/drop my daughter and both shares a great association. My daughter had great learnings and good fun activities throughout the year. Keep serving the community. Thank you.”

“My family has been a part of the TLC family for around 3 years now over two children. Our time with my youngest there is coming to an end and it's with such a heavy heart that we move on. The incredibly experienced teachers at TLC have taught me so much about parenting and provided different perspectives on how I'd viewed certain things previously. Their philosophy has paid off in dividends for my children and it was a beautiful thing to watch them thrive, grow their confidence and self awareness in their time with TLC.
