“My son loves going to Active Explorer Central Park! Educators are very kind and caring, regular updates with photos and daily updates on children's activity book have built my confidence in this centre and trust pretty quickly. My son asks me every day to take him there, he has so much fun! He surprises me with new social skills every time and has made lovely bunch of little friends that make a party every time they see him come. When I drop him off he doesn't even want to waive good bye and when I pick him he wants to stay around!”

“Had a party here recently for my daughters birthday, the islander man was super friendly and helpful. The party rooms are spacious and clean and the playground is set up nicely. My daughter and her friends had a blast! Would recommend :)”

“Awesome local park, generally safe. Lots of running space and a better than average playground with a flying fox. Was fairly clean the days I have visited. A great place for walking but young children will need supervision due to the stream that runs through and has no fence.”

“This indoor playground is a must to visit with your little ones. It's our first time coming in here and so far the cleanest we have been compared to other indoor playgrounds, cafe has a lot of tables too and you can just watch your children having fun while you enjoy your coffee. My 17 months old definitely had so much fun in here. Looking forward to comeback again.”

“I must command the excellent service I got today at the Warehouse Albany. A product I needed was not on shelf. The customer support went out of her way to find one in the shop but none was available. So she phoned another shop (Glenfield) and had one reserved for me to pick up on the same day. “We recently celebrated my son’s 1st birthday here at Manukau chipmunks. I had the pleasure of working with Val(staff member) throughout the night. The place was beautifully cleaned up before our night started and our kids food boxes were ready when we needed them. Everything I asked from Val and her other co worker they had for me straight away. I am very grateful for letting us use your facilities. Thank you for being so lovely and understanding. Blessings”

“We had our sons 5th birthday party here. The facilities are very clean, you can sit and watch the kids easily. Lots to do, games, face painting, obviously the playground itself. The food was great in the café, as well as the party food we ordered. Would absolutely come back again.”

“This Reserve one side got tall trees and the other side small open field. Good to place for your dogs to run around. One bench in the park. No public toilet here. Looks clean and tidy”

“Both my children have attended Acorn and thrived. A lovely, relatively small centre where children receive a lot of one on one attention and the staff cater towards individual children needs. Amazing staff who genuinely care for the children and build a strong connection and sense of community with them. My boys started school confidant, independent, curious and more than ready academically after attending Acorn. Highly recommend. ”

“I couldn’t speak more highly of A Child’s Place. We enrolled our one-year-old son after a tough experience at a previous centre, so I was naturally cautious. But Megan and the incredible infant room team went above and beyond to ensure he felt safe, settled, and genuinely cared for. One thing that really stood out to us was the primary caregiving model — having a consistent teacher who took the lead in building a strong bond with our son made a huge difference, especially as he wasn’t very familiar or comfortable with others in the beginning. He now looks forward to daycare each day — his face lights up at the mention of his teachers’ names, he runs off happily at drop-off, and I’m always greeted with the biggest smile at pick-up. The teachers are constantly engaged with the kids — whether they’re on the floor reading, outside exploring, or sitting alongside them at mealtimes, you can tell the care is genuine. The centre itself is always spotless and well-organised, and the team are incredibly responsive to any needs or changes we’ve raised. We were especially grateful for the support and advice they offered when we were navigating some sleep struggles. The care and attention to detail in sharing updates, milestones (big and small), and daily happenings make it feel like so much more than just childcare — it’s a true community and family. I’ll be forever grateful to Megan, Ross, and the team for creating such a warm, nurturing environment, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend A Child’s Place to anyone”

The kaiako take great care of my boy, and I love the high quality learning stories, the provocations, the beautiful large outdoor environment, the quality resources and healthy home cooked food. My son is absolutely thriving in such a sensitive period of his development and I wouldn’t take him anywhere else. He tells me about the bikes he rides, the sandpit, he sings songs and enjoys the extras that nobody else offers such as Tiny Yoga and Tiny Pet Day. I also love the special events they put on for Mothers Day/ Fathers Day, Xmas, Matariki and more. I feel like they go above and beyond! Highly recommend Tiny Voices; nowhere else compares! “A cool little childcare centre. Because it’s smaller it feels more like family. The teachers are great and work really well as a team to give great care and communication about what’s happening. We really like the fact that the outdoor spaces are big and have real grass growing rather than artificial.”
