“After a long search we finally settled on sending our 20 month old to Creative Minds and we are stoked with our decision to send her here. The center has such a lovely, welcoming vibe and all the children looked really happy and confident. Jodie’s calm, experienced approach helps ease the littlies into a great routine. Shabana is an excellent, hands-on manager who puts your mind at ease and knows exactly what each child has been up to. The carers are all wonderful, especially Gemma, Latiesha and Lisa, who are always smiling and make drop-offs a breeze. Creative Minds may not bombard us with constant app updates, but honestly, that’s part of the charm. The team is so focused on giving our girl their full attention—they’re present, caring, and genuinely engaged. We never feel like we’re missing out because they always take the time to chat and share what she’s been up to. Our daughter comes home happy, well-fed, and bubbling with excitement. “Both my daughters attended children's ark full time. One is at school already and one is going to school next year. I am very grateful my girls attended here as they have a truly fabulous team. The teachers are very caring and lovely and they form very good relationships with the parents which is super important. Would always highly recommend them to everyone. “This one gave me a very clean and warm impression. The teachers who take care of the children are very responsible! There are a lot of toys for the children. It is very clean and spacious. “This was the best Day Care in Auckland. The team were loving and caring towards all the kids. I was very disappointed when they had to shut down due to water damage from the floods. They were a great asset to the area and to the kids. Hope all the team and families have found new daycares as good as this place was.”

“We've just moved to manurewa and was on the hunt for a daycare for my 3month old and 4 yrs old girls. I've been to every close by daycare centre but I've chosen Star for my girls. One main important thing that I looked out for today when I was looking for a daycare was mainly their facilities and staff might I stress this out because I want my girls especially my 3month old in safe hands. “Our whānau had begun the transition into Nurserydale’s care but due to unforeseen circumstances we had to stop our enrolment, however I wanted to leave a review still because of the wonderful centre that it is. All the staff were super kind and you can tell that all the children are truly happy, engaged and thriving here, with tons of resources and learning through play activities. The way that the children have one main teacher for their entire stay at the centre is truly something special. What really won is over was the staffs confidence in te reo Māori, which was obvious as many of the children use kupu Māori in their speech often, and all with perfect pronunciation. It’s unfortunate that things didn’t work out be we are very grateful for Nurserydale’s kindness and support. Ngā mihi nui”

“I couldn’t speak more highly of A Child’s Place. We enrolled our one-year-old son after a tough experience at a previous centre, so I was naturally cautious. But Megan and the incredible infant room team went above and beyond to ensure he felt safe, settled, and genuinely cared for. One thing that really stood out to us was the primary caregiving model — having a consistent teacher who took the lead in building a strong bond with our son made a huge difference, especially as he wasn’t very familiar or comfortable with others in the beginning. He now looks forward to daycare each day — his face lights up at the mention of his teachers’ names, he runs off happily at drop-off, and I’m always greeted with the biggest smile at pick-up. The teachers are constantly engaged with the kids — whether they’re on the floor reading, outside exploring, or sitting alongside them at mealtimes, you can tell the care is genuine. The centre itself is always spotless and well-organised, and the team are incredibly responsive to any needs or changes we’ve raised. We were especially grateful for the support and advice they offered when we were navigating some sleep struggles. The care and attention to detail in sharing updates, milestones (big and small), and daily happenings make it feel like so much more than just childcare — it’s a true community and family. I’ll be forever grateful to Megan, Ross, and the team for creating such a warm, nurturing environment, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend A Child’s Place to anyone”
