Staff members are always kind and respectful to kids and parents. My daughter been there since year one and always happy to stay there.
PARENTS BEWARE!!! This facility is dangerous for your child!! Whilst here my child has been, 1. Bitten by the managers dog. 2. Left at school unattended. 3. Bullied by a young member of staff to the extent he was paying children to defriend my child in online games. My son has become a shell of who he was since this staff member started his bullying campaign. After calmly confronting this individual and having a very civil chat the manager proceeds to message myself and lie about a complaint (about the conversation had with the bullying individual being aggressive) by a mother of the other child still in their care. (There was only my daughter and her friend, I know her friends mother so called her and she has offered a written letter attesting to the fact she never complained nor was the conversation she saw in the least bit aggressive.) The Manager will lie to try and cover her staff members as opposed to looking after the safety of A 10 YEAR OLD CHILD and all other children in her care. I did not message her back (removed my children from their care) and I'm considering taking it further to Oranga Tamariki. This establishment is sub par and is lacking in Health and Safety. If you value you child's safety you wouldn't send them here!! ***edit to reply to their reply. That's right, we were there for 8 YEARS we got a good insight into how this facility was run in that time. "I am saddened that you feel the need to pull us down publicly" THIS IS ABOUT THE SAFETY OF CHILDEN! Not your ego's.
The staff are very kind and always actively encouraging the kids to do something both indoor and outdoor. Didn't really see any kids sitting alone or left by themselves especially my son who may have been quite shy at the beginning of term 1 when he started. Now he loves going there and he gets good attention from carers and care assistants. He even said last time when I picked him up that Jake is his good friend (who is a young 4kids team member) and yelled out to him to wave and said bye to Jake. Overall, great kindly staff and service.
Fabulous daycare and OSCAR facility. We have been part of the 4 kids family for almost 3 years now and Master C and Miss S enjoy their time at the centre. Thanks Glenda, Sam and all the other staff who do such a great job looking after our children.
I'm so happy we chose 4kids & whΔnau for Jasmine, it was a really hard decision finding a centre for her after her always being by my side at my centre. My only regret was not getting her to you guys earlier. She loved being involved and learning in her project group and is always making connections between her learning and discoveries at home. She loved the relationships she made with kaiako and her friends, that she was able to be creative and expressive and all the wonderful learning opportunities she was given. She trnasitioned to school with ease and confidence thank you so much team, you guys are awesome!
