My daughter was 2 and a half years old when she started hand-and-hand. She goes to school now in year 3, but she still talks about Hand and Hand teachers. “Our 2 year old daughter started here 3 months ago and we are absolutely thrilled with this centre. It’s a wonderful, big, happy and exciting environment for the kids while also being surprisingly calm, and the teachers are truly wonderful. They have all been so kind and caring and have really helped to ease the transition for our daughter who has been nervous about starting kindy. You can tell that they are all truly caring and wonderful teachers. The centre also has a great routine with the kids and is well managed and privately owned which I think is a big benefit. Highly recommend.”

“Love Cozy Corner Educare!! My daughter started in July of this year and the entire team at cozy corner were so welcoming and made the process of starting daycare a breeze. Although my baby can’t tell me, I can tell she loves daycare and all her teachers, she gets so excited when we walk up to cozy corner. Her teachers do an amazing job of educating, guiding and supporting my daughter through her early stages of life. We highly recommend!!”

“My daughter started Love and Joy a week after she turned one. She is 19 months now.We can see how much her language has developed over the last few months. She can speak so well and clearly although we are bilingual. She sings most of the rhymes with actions. She has become independent sleeping , eating and also can solo play if needed. She is very social and interactive with people she meets. We have also noticed that she cleans up after play and puts things back in her place. Thanks to Lee and her team of amazing, caring and nurturing teachers. They make sure that the child has eaten, slept and well looked after. Also, my son who is now in school went to Love and Joy . “This centre truly deserves more than just 5 stars. Phoebe and her incredible team are amazing with the kids. I have a non-verbal 4-year-old daughter, and since she started here, she has become so much more vocal! She even puts her own shoes away at home and washes her hands with soap. My autistic child used to struggle with following instructions, but since joining BSMC last year, she's made tremendous progress. Believe me when I say, I tried nearly 10 different centres before finding this one. From the moment I walked in, I felt something different, and I knew this was the right place for my girl. The staff are so patient and understanding with her. She absolutely loves going to daycare and always says "excited" when I drop her off. They make her feel safe and loved, and as a parent, what more could you ask for?”

“Eskdale Treehouse is such a lovely daycare. 2 of my children attend and have been for the last few years. They are caring, respectful, considerate, helpful, thoughtful, informative and offer a super fun environment with lots of activities and cultural events. It didn't take long for my kids to settle in and they love going (and have made some great friends). It will be sad to say goodbye when my preschooler heads to school soon. They are very diligent with allergies too which is fantastic as my son has several and it was a bit scary sending him initially. They are also open throughout the school holidays which is amazing - they are hard workers. Nicky has also been very kind/accommodating to our family after I had my 3rd which I will always appreciate, thank you. So I highly recommend Treehouse. It has been a fantastic daycare and have been very happy to send my 2 here :)”

“We have our son (4y) and daughter (1.5y) at BestStart Remuera road. I really feel like we hit the jackpot with this daycare. There is a real focus on our daughter's development in the baby room. They really care about her and she loves going everyday. I have noticed her recently excelling in her speech and even has started identifying colours. I was so nervous at first as it took her a while to settle – the staff were calm and reassured me of what is normal and I'm glad to now see her toddle in willingly! In the 2y and over room it's mixed ages like that of Kindergarten and they have started a "school ready" program for the 4y+ preschoolers. I feel like my own IQ has been bolstered by what my son has learnt over the past few months. He knows so much about the solar system and has started writing his name. The expertise the teachers here bring is definitely more than I ever hoped for. More than happy with Remuera Road!”

“Lightbulb learning is an AMAZING daycare. It is a brand new facility, each room is separate for each age group: 0-1y, 1-2y, 2-3y, 3-4y and 4-5y. This is the first day care that there has been an under 1y room to protect the babies from the bigger kids. The rooms also have age and developmentally appropriate toys. The outdoor areas are very well set out, lots of land for the kids to explore. Great menu and most of all the teachers are kind and our daughter immediately warmed to them! Highly recommend!”

“We’ve been doing transition visits recently with my 17-month-old daughter, and I truly appreciate the teachers here. They are patient, sensitive to each child’s needs and interests, and always respond with love and understanding. After the first two hours I left my daughter with the teachers, she came back home singing Brown Bear! Since then, every time she arrives at the centre, Teacher Wilma shows her the goldfish she loves, and Teacher Chloe sings Brown Bear with her—creating a warm, consistent, and welcoming atmosphere. Each time during pick-up, I can see how well the teachers know my daughter—her likes and dislikes, and her little habits. Even though we’ve only been here for two weeks, I can already see a genuine relationship and attachment forming between her and the teachers. I feel so thankful and blessed to have chosen this place.”

“My friend recommended Daystar as their daughter was already attending and they only had positive things to say. This was the best decision my husband and myself made. We’ve tried two other daycares prior to Daystar and the difference is night and day. Daystar has the warmest and loveliest environment that you can ask for. The teachers are full of experience and are all very lovely with the little ones, whether it is ranging from growth and development or assisting with personal tasks (nappy training, nap times, medication etc) they are very supportive and communicative when it comes to doing what’s best for the little ones. We always felt safe leaving our boys in their hands. Both our boys, enjoyed their time greatly and have developed critical skills required for their next stage in schooling. The environment is clean, tidy and comfy with a garden like backyard for outdoor play and exploration. Daystar is also very culturally diverse and reflective of New Zealand culture, providing a wide variety of experiences to different cultural events and learning about their celebrations. Our youngest son will be graduating soon and we will surely miss our time here at the Daystar family as we could always count on the consistent excellent support throughout the years. We highly recommend Daystar if you are looking for quality childcare.”
