“Relatively new park with a huge area, there's a skate/scooter park, basketball courts, a toddler park, multiple smaller play areas just for balance type of play, a zip line, and a huge area for picnics and walks next to a man made lake. Easy access for people taking public transportation as it is right behind the manukau train station. For those driving though, not much parking next to the park. My son enjoyed it thoroughly and didn't want to come back even after spending 3 and a half hours there, and we didn't even bring his scooter or skateboard.”

My daughter has flourished and grown over the 4 years she has been a student at BestStart. It has been her home away from home and she has spent more time with this team then some of her own relatives. She has never complained or raised any concerns.”

“Very high level of care at cosmo kids. Our daughter absolutely loves going here and she receives tonnes of one on one attention from all of the carers. We have seen her, social, language skills and overall development come along in leaps and bounds since she started a year ago. Could not recommend more highly.”

“Thank you Manu Tukutuku, I hired the whole place for my granddaughters 5th birthday. Love everything about the place, space, & kitchen. Even though the weather wasn't good that day, theres a playground & skate park out side for our tamarikis. I'm going to hire it again for my daughter's 21st. Good on my budget. Thank you again.”

“A clean and tidy center where you want to send your kids. The most important thing to about this center is that the teachers are very supportive of your child’s need in terms of knowledge enrichment. The center has loads of activities included in their curriculum to educate kids about front line workers, festivals, diversity, and other important dates. The center is diverse culturally and neurodiverse too. That being said, they listen to parents and note the goals for your child and work towards accomplishing those goals. Definitely recommend and one of the best centers in south Auckland.”

“Moved to Pukekohe about 4 months ago, visited more than 5 daycares and Pukekohe Early Learning Centre is the one that I wanted to enrol immediately without any hesitation. The centre provides different nutritional meals every day. Lots of different activities and visits and walks. The teachers there are so nice and patient with children. They care every single one of them and look for the children’s interest and find out the best way of development for them. This is also the reason my child got so easy to transit and fit into the new environment. There is always feedback from the teacher to surprise me with how much my child can do without mum and dad! Now my child has lots of new friends and always looking forward to going to preschool!”

“This was a beautiful walk with a stunning view awaiting at the top! Whole trip up and down took 1-1.5 hours or so, we took our time. Weather was perfect. A must-do in Auckland to see the whole city!”

“My little son has been attending Li’l Champs Highland Park for a few months now and we’ve been really happy with his progress. He enjoys the activities, and we’ve noticed great improvements in his communication, confidence and social skills. The teachers are incredibly warm, caring and professional truly treat each child with love and respect. The centre is clean, safe and well equipped with both outdoor and indoor. The weekly updated fill me with happiness, knowing he having lots of fun and learning everyday. We highly recommend to any parent seeking a nurturing, safe and enriching environment for their child.”

“This is a 2.8km off leash dog walk. There is one good sized pond for dogs to swim and depending on whether it has been raining will depend on whether sister will be flowing. There are a few yucky parts where if the dogs get covered in mud, they will need a bath!! They love it though. The track also caters for a few cyclists some of whom go too fast. Don't be shy to say, 'slow down', I do. Great place.”

“We have our 2 boys attend KLC and they have been cared for extremely well. The staff are incredibly caring, ensuring each child gets genuine attention and a strong foundation in learning. KLC is definitely not your usual ECE, our boy is now off to Primary and KLC has done a tremendous job in setting him up for a great start to his schooling.”

“Best Start Manuroa Road was our top choice for part time care after visiting 4 other facilities within our area. I loved how energetic, welcoming and informative the admin team were. I also love how genuine and engaging the teachers were with the babies. This alone set them apart from the other centres not to mention their centre spaces are sun drenched and well cared for. “I went to the Auckland Botanical Gardens first thing after exiting the airport on October 6. It was a good experience, very quiet early in the morning. It's entirely free and supports the local community. Some of the highlights would be the water features, the grouping of plants by ecosystem, and the main building, which hosts I spent around an hour there. That was a little short; I think the optimal amount of time is around two hours.”

“Best start botany junction is the best daycare I found for my son. All staff are friendly, responsible and caring. You can choose this place for your child without any doubt. Highly recommended.”

“I'm just so impressed with the service and care that we are getting from this centre. My daughter is a very introverted girl who was very shy to teachers and kids, and she just needed extra time to get use to the environment and the new people around her when first enrolled, but I really appreciate the teachers that they never give up on my girl, they keep encouraging my daughter to participate, try new things, and see her grow, letting her know that she's safe in this centre and that she's always welcomed. Every piece of work they do at the centre is so meaningful helping my daughter to learn and grow. Whenever I go pick her up now she's always not willing to leave and that she would share a lot with me on the way home about what she has done for the day. I really cant appreciate more, thank you so much to all the teachers. I would definately recommend this centre to those that are still trying to look for a daycare.”

“First time visiting yesterday to find a wedding guest dress for my mum. Really impressed by the clothing and also the ladies Al and Kirstin were so helpful. They let us go in the larger room to try on clothes so we could go together and also helped us look for options. Will definitely be back!”

“Amazing service ! Had so much fun and very accommodating. We have 6 children ages 4-13 and she made sure to accommodate to them all. So much fun for them as well as us parents. Definitely recommend. Also the lasertag space is the perfect size, not too small yet not too big.”

“We chose private hire of party kingdom, not only was it clean, safe and it was a cool temperature during a hot day, they went above and beyond setting up two parties rooms and Eve the owner setup an extra party room as a disco room which was a hit, I found the price extremely cheap and lucky for what we were provided, the service was amazing and run by a local family. If you want real effort and real service this is the place to go as I will be telling everyone. We plan parties for children everyday this is our life I decided I couldn’t do it this year as it’s our job and it was the least stressful birthday I have ever had, We were very fortunate and my kids can’t wait to do this again. Eve and Adam have created such a wonderful place for families I couldn’t recommend it more. Edit: Reading the bad reviews below on what people are complaining about really hits home, this is a family run business not a corporation, businesses cost money, us family run businesses can’t afford multiple staff, I feel like some people nothing still ever be good enough, people need a reality check. Eve juggled so many people at our party and everyone was actually over the moon. Don’t spend $9 and complain about it what is wrong with you people.”

“Pretty mint playground, segregated into 3 parts - there is this mini obstacle course which was very cool. Bonus dairy and takeaway just meters away. Nice to see kids making their way to shops in their little packs, giving me nostalgic vibes. Plenty of parking too.”

“My mom and I were in Auckland for a few days and wanted to go see a play and we ended up getting tickets to White Men. The venue was gorgeous, the show was great, and overall it was just a lovely atmosphere! If either of us ever go back to Auckland, we will definitely be looking to see another show here! Highly recommend!”
