   Daystar is the kind of place where children are truly seen and supported for who they are. They’re encouraged to express themselves through creative play, guided with genuine care, and surrounded by a culture that celebrates diversity and curiosity. My 3-year-old currently attends Daystar, and my now 5-year-old recently transitioned to primary school after spending wonderful years there. Both of them have thrived — they’re confident, kind, and bright little humans who genuinely love learning. The teachers go above and beyond to make each child feel special and included. You can tell how much heart they put into everything, from daily routines to cultural events. We’re so grateful to be part of the Daystar whānau.

   My daughter attended Daystar for two years, and she absolutely loved it! The teachers are so kind and caring, creating a warm and joyful environment where she always felt comfortable to be herself. The Morning Discoveries sessions were a wonderful way for her to learn more about New Zealand’s culture and environment. She loved singing Māori songs, dancing, and joining cooking activities all of which helped her develop new skills and confidence. She also discovered her passion for caring for younger children. Daystar’s faith based approach had a beautiful impact on her she still prays the way she learned there. The team truly understands the needs of each family and provides incredible support. The centre is always clean, well organised , and has a lovely structure that makes it feel safe and welcoming. She truly misses her friends and teachers. We’re so grateful for all the love, learning, and happy memories she had at Daystar. Highly recommend this amazing centre!

   Enrolling our daughter into Daystar was the best decision we have made. For the past three years the kaiako have poured love, kindness and wisdom into our child and have enabled her light to shine bright. As parents we felt comfortable knowing our child was left in good hands and we were always kept informed of her progress via photos, learning stories and discovery lessons.    My friend recommended Daystar as their daughter was already attending and they only had positive things to say. This was the best decision my husband and myself made. We’ve tried two other daycares prior to Daystar and the difference is night and day. Daystar has the warmest and loveliest environment that you can ask for. The teachers are full of experience and are all very lovely with the little ones, whether it is ranging from growth and development or assisting with personal tasks (nappy training, nap times, medication etc) they are very supportive and communicative when it comes to doing what’s best for the little ones. We always felt safe leaving our boys in their hands. Both our boys, enjoyed their time greatly and have developed critical skills required for their next stage in schooling. The environment is clean, tidy and comfy with a garden like backyard for outdoor play and exploration. Daystar is also very culturally diverse and reflective of New Zealand culture, providing a wide variety of experiences to different cultural events and learning about their celebrations. Our youngest son will be graduating soon and we will surely miss our time here at the Daystar family as we could always count on the consistent excellent support throughout the years. We highly recommend Daystar if you are looking for quality childcare.

   We had the best experience with the wonderful teaching staff at Daystar. We came from a daycare that wasn't meeting our needs to Daystar, which completely exceeded our expectations. Every single day we were met with smiles and positivity at the door and the same at the end of the day. Our son absolutely thrived with Daystar. His language and social skills excelled. The staff were so supportive in every way- especially when, for us, it came to potty training. They show genuine care and attention in your child and their calm, functional environment is amazing. We only left because I changed jobs, otherwise our son would still be there. I cannot speak more highly of Daystar- it has a super special place in our hearts. You would be doing the best thing for your child in sending them to Daystar!

As we always said, we can hardly express our gratitude for your concern at the time of facing great challenges during the pandemic, which brought our hearts even closer. It's not about how special we are, it's about the common belief and the core you are, we witnessed all the good things that have been passed to our daughter and eventually will become a part of her core in her life. Thank you Deepa, Min, Pallavi, Margarita, Ringi, Patricia, and all the relieved teachers, you are much more than that, you are guardian angels and soul creators.    As parents of a lively 4 year old that attends Daystar, we would, with NO reservations, recommend this great place to anyone that will listen. After moving to this new country it was very important for us to find the right place for our little one and Daystar is just that perfect place. The teachers are so kind and they take personal interest in each and every kid. My little girls transformation has made me so proud and I would like to thank Daystar for all the time they have invested in her and teaching her all the lovely values. Very happy and friendly team and ready to answer all your questions anytime. Without doubt the #1 daycare in Mount Eden.

   I cannot recommend Deepa and her team highly enough. They are well trained, professional and very down to earth. Also special thanks to Min for the wonderful parenting advice. My two children graduated and loved it here. They are like an extension of our family. The Carers are fantastic and loving. The facility is warm, clean and well organized. We always feel welcomed and well looked after. They always have their days planned out with new activities at daily discoveries, fun craft, French visual arts and more. They promote eating healthy foods, teach good table manners, and once a while the kids are involved with baking in the kitchen. I will never forget the time my daughter brought home a cookie she baked at school, the expression of her little proud face is priceless. The warmth and love provided at Daystar has given my girls a sense of belonging and strengthened their self esteem. Also, the positive behavior approach used by the teachers continues to encourage my girls to reach their full potential. I just can't praise them enough! I believe Daystart is the best preschool for my daughters. Thanks for every teachers’ caring and teaching from 2015 to 2020. We will miss you all a lot. Heaps Thanks!!!!
