After visiting several childcare centers in the Mt Albert/Owairaka area, this one stood out as the best in terms of its Amazing teachers, excellent management, and spacious, well-designed facilities. The teachers are consistently engaging, caring, and full of positive energy. Anita and Judy, the owners and managers of Red Kite, are outstanding—they create a welcoming and nurturing environment where children thrive. The team has supported my son through every stage of his development, from lifting his head to crawling, walking, running, talking and now even dancing! “The team and facilities at ABC Epsom are fantastic. Particularly the teachers in the under two's room are so caring and wonderful with the littlies. The atmosphere at the centre is great. Lovely big outdoor space for a relatively central centre. Highly recommend.”

“I managed to get my 6yr old booked in for 2 of the 3 day camps available these holidays and she had an absolute blast! The team leaders are fantastic, knowledgeable and full of patience. The activities are varied skill levels and always another option available or challenge to be met, Kayaks, Archery Abseiling .Meals were included and a 9- 5 day was full of action- highly recommend for any kids wanting to get out of their comfort zone or city and come enjoy the coast.”

“I had the pleasure of having all three of my children attend Learning Unlimited over a five-year period, and we couldn’t have been happier with the center. We only had to leave when we moved too far away. The staff are incredibly helpful, friendly, and approachable. They took a genuine interest in my children’s passions and nurtured their curiosity and love for learning. My eldest son thrived in his love of writing, my daughter enjoyed assisting the teachers with everyday tasks, and my younger son loved exploring animals. The communication, both in person and online, was always clear and informative, making us feel included and up to date on everything important. I would highly recommend this center to any family or friends, and I have done so many times!”

“We’ve had a fantastic experience with Kiddie Garden Learning Corner! The teachers are warm, caring, and genuinely invested in the children’s growth and happiness. My child loves going every day and has learned so much—from creative activities to social skills. The environment is safe, nurturing, and well-organized, with plenty of engaging activities that keep the kids excited. Communication with parents is also excellent, keeping us updated on our child’s progress. The kids are very well fed too. My child doesn’t come home hungry in the evening, and that’s a great relief to know that the kids are fed frequent and adequately. I highly recommend Kiddie Garden to any parent looking for a loving and enriching daycare experience!”

“My son loves going to Active Explorer Central Park! Educators are very kind and caring, regular updates with photos and daily updates on children's activity book have built my confidence in this centre and trust pretty quickly. My son asks me every day to take him there, he has so much fun! He surprises me with new social skills every time and has made lovely bunch of little friends that make a party every time they see him come. When I drop him off he doesn't even want to waive good bye and when I pick him he wants to stay around!”

“I'm just so impressed with the service and care that we are getting from this centre. My daughter is a very introverted girl who was very shy to teachers and kids, and she just needed extra time to get use to the environment and the new people around her when first enrolled, but I really appreciate the teachers that they never give up on my girl, they keep encouraging my daughter to participate, try new things, and see her grow, letting her know that she's safe in this centre and that she's always welcomed. Every piece of work they do at the centre is so meaningful helping my daughter to learn and grow. Whenever I go pick her up now she's always not willing to leave and that she would share a lot with me on the way home about what she has done for the day. I really cant appreciate more, thank you so much to all the teachers. I would definately recommend this centre to those that are still trying to look for a daycare.”

“After a long search we finally settled on sending our 20 month old to Creative Minds and we are stoked with our decision to send her here. The center has such a lovely, welcoming vibe and all the children looked really happy and confident. Jodie’s calm, experienced approach helps ease the littlies into a great routine. Shabana is an excellent, hands-on manager who puts your mind at ease and knows exactly what each child has been up to. The carers are all wonderful, especially Gemma, Latiesha and Lisa, who are always smiling and make drop-offs a breeze. Creative Minds may not bombard us with constant app updates, but honestly, that’s part of the charm. The team is so focused on giving our girl their full attention—they’re present, caring, and genuinely engaged. We never feel like we’re missing out because they always take the time to chat and share what she’s been up to. Our daughter comes home happy, well-fed, and bubbling with excitement. We low-key want to keep this place to ourselves — but the team works so hard and deserves every bit of recognition. Thank you, Creative Minds for creating such a special space!”

“Little Wings is an absolute dream daycare: lovely, clean indoor/outdoor spaces, dedicated staff who really care for the children, and healthy food. Our baby has thrived there and we feel happy leaving him in their capable hands. I was so anxious about going back to work and they have helped enormously.”

“My daughter Akane Andrea loved every minute with all teachers and little friends. While trusting somebody with your little precious prince or princess wellbeing when you not there can prove challenhimg for some, I knew mine was safe and happy when every morning I was asked with passion if today was a school day. Can they do better? Sure, everybody can. Do they give 100% to ensure all kids are looked after, feel safe and loved? They do. There wasn't any day I was worried while she was at school and this, if you knew me or my wife, says it all!”

“A clean and tidy center where you want to send your kids. The most important thing to about this center is that the teachers are very supportive of your child’s need in terms of knowledge enrichment. The center has loads of activities included in their curriculum to educate kids about front line workers, festivals, diversity, and other important dates. The center is diverse culturally and neurodiverse too. That being said, they listen to parents and note the goals for your child and work towards accomplishing those goals. Definitely recommend and one of the best centers in south Auckland.”

“Moved to Pukekohe about 4 months ago, visited more than 5 daycares and Pukekohe Early Learning Centre is the one that I wanted to enrol immediately without any hesitation. The centre provides different nutritional meals every day. Lots of different activities and visits and walks. The teachers there are so nice and patient with children. They care every single one of them and look for the children’s interest and find out the best way of development for them. This is also the reason my child got so easy to transit and fit into the new environment. There is always feedback from the teacher to surprise me with how much my child can do without mum and dad! Now my child has lots of new friends and always looking forward to going to preschool!”

“We have our 2 boys attend KLC and they have been cared for extremely well. The staff are incredibly caring, ensuring each child gets genuine attention and a strong foundation in learning. KLC is definitely not your usual ECE, our boy is now off to Primary and KLC has done a tremendous job in setting him up for a great start to his schooling.”

“I just wanted to come on here and give my feedback on Kidz Connect otahu as my son attends this day care. I want to start off by saying that I was so hesitant to send my son school so I stayed home with him for 2 years knowing that he was a shy reserved boy and thought he would be more comfortable at home with me (mum). It took me a lot of courage to finally enroll him and was abit scared how he would be since this was his first ever time being away from me hahaha. I do not regret one bit enrolling him into kidz connect, it took him a while to warm up to everyone but thank you to moa toddlers teachers for helping him prep for Huia pre school. For making him come out of his shell and finding his own voice, everyone there have made myself and my boy feel so welcomed and comfortable to the point he is happy to come to school everyday and that is a big change from my boy. Even from the amazing receptionist Val who always greets everyone who walks through the doors and making my boy feel comfortable before walking into class is what every parent want/needs. “Being foreign to the country, I was skeptical about starting my little one in just any baby class. But at Rockabye we've felt welcome from day 1. All the staff go out of their way with planning days, fresh daily set-ups, informing you of your kid's progress and keeping track of his growth and milestones. This was my first choice as I'm working just down the road from there but if I'd worked further, this would still be my first option! They really ROCK!”

“Really happy with this place! Loads of parking and it's not right by the main road, so dropping off and picking up isn't a hassle with fewer cars around. They don't cram in too many kids, so each child gets plenty of attention from the teachers. The staff are great with the little ones. Plus, there's a huge space for the kids to play and learn, with both indoor and outdoor gardens. My child come a long way here – from shy to super confident by the time she hit primary school. Couldn't be happier! It's not too expensive compared to others with meals included. A BIG THANK YOU PLC!!!”
