   Came here tonight with a few people, and things got off to a great start. We were seated straight away, and our lovely server Katie swooped in to take our drink orders. Then the rest of our group arrived - all at once, naturally - so she popped back over and handled that chaos with a smile. Less than half an hour later, Katie came back to take our dinner orders - crouching down at the table like a pro listener. She was friendly, funny, and genuinely kind. Before we knew it, dinner had arrived, piping hot and smelling amazing. The fries were crisp and hot, ribs tender and delicious, steak cooked perfectly, and even the coleslaw got five stars (plenty of dressing - bless!). The pork was melt-in-your-mouth good, and the mashed potatoes were spot on. Honestly, not a single complaint between us. Katie checked in on us throughout the meal, always smiling and making sure everyone had what they needed. I noticed she was just as warm and chatty with other tables - crouching, laughing, and being an all-round delight. When it came time for a doggy bag, she sorted me out so I could take home my leftover ribs (which didn’t last long once I got home, let’s be honest). She even handled me fumbling around with online transfers at the till with saint-like patience. All in all, a fantastic experience. Katie, you’re a gem - thank you for making our night such a good one! We will be back!!!

   I had a great experience at Tavern Harewood. The service was super friendly and very accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The place itself is clean, well maintained, and has a nice atmosphere that makes dining there really enjoyable. I ordered the Caesar salad, and it was absolutely delicious! The portion was generous, and every ingredient tasted fresh. The balance of flavors was spot on, with just the right mix of greens, croutons, bacon, and cheese, topped off with a tasty dressing that tied everything together perfectly. Overall, Tavern Harewood is a place I’d definitely recommend for both the great food and the warm service. I’ll be coming back for sure!

   Visited Harewood Tavern and had a great experience overall. The Beef Wellington was a standout—flaky pastry, tender beef, and a flavourful mushroom filling. The seafood chowder was also excellent: creamy, packed with seafood, and served with warm, crusty bread. However, the Angus steak was a bit of a letdown—it was on the chewy side and didn’t quite match the quality of the other dishes. Also, some of the food arrived only lukewarm, which was a bit disappointing given how well it was cooked otherwise. Still,nice atmosphere, and definitely worth a visit for the Wellington and chowder alone.

   Absolutely awesome place to go. We were in a very large group to celebrate a 50th birthday. The meals came out quickly and were delicious. My husband and I shared a garlic loaf & prawns in a bucket and we both had the Beef Wellington. They were also great value! The best thing was the service, it was without a doubt top notch, very friendly & nothing was a problem. In fact we enjoyed the food so much, we went back for brunch the next day! We will most definitely be back next time we are in town.

   I had the chicken burger and my wife had the steak sandwich and we shared the wontons. Absolutely delicious food. My only complaint is that the chicken only covered half the burger. HOWEVER such tender meat perfectly cooked, great tasting sauces.... We will definitely be back!
