   ⭐⭐⭐ Hidden gem near the airport! ✈️ Stopped by Malis Thai for a quick meal and was pleasantly surprised. They have a Clear Chicken Noodle Soup for only $10 – such a bargain compared to most places these days. The broth is light but flavorful, noodles are soft with a nice bite, and the chicken slices were tender. Perfect comfort food, especially if you’ve just landed or heading off on a trip. Plenty of parking out front and service was friendly. For the price, you really can’t go wrong – definitely worth checking out if you’re around Christchurch Airport!

   I ordered ginger stir fry with tofu for takeaway. Quite disappointed with the quantity of food. I am not a big eater but the meal wasn't enough, very little quantity of rice and veggies were not good either. Additionally, I have found scraps of wok in the food. It's the non stick coating of the wok that came off in my food. Good, that I noticed it before swallowing. And there were tiny bits of it Disappointed.

   Our 2nd time enjoying their amazing food and this time we chose to dine in. The kitchen was a hive of activity as many came to collect their orders as well as a lot of uber eats. We pretty much had the restaurant to ourselves which was bliss. We were able to enjoy their amazing dishes as though we had booked the place just for us (couldve been everyone was glued to the Wahs game) as I have definately seen it a lot busier usually. Faultless service and beautiful decor. Perfect atomsphere for a rare date night. The food was incredible as always, super fresh, perfect amount of spice and large portions meant we were able to take the leftovers home to enjoy further. Super accomdating of a severe food allergy. As much as we would love to keep this place secret just for us, they definately earnt a 5 star review! Meals we had; Satay chicken sticks, Curry puffs(best ive had) Spring rolls Tempura chicken cashew stir fry Yum Thai salad with beef All in all a wonderful local business providing everything you hope for when you venture out for a lovely meal. 10/10 will be returning for more!

   Excellent first experience We had dinner at Mali Jasmine Thai restaurant on a weekday evening, which was our first dining experience at this place. We were very pleased with a decor, the service, the presentation and the taste of the food. The place is quite large, and has an excellent ambience inside. There is plenty of parking. The wait time was zero. We were looked after by the owner Jeffrey Barrow himself. We had a vegetarian starter (tempura vegetable) and two mains- one flat noodles dish and the other sweet & sour curry. Both were very delicious and sumptuous. We returned home after a very satisfying and authentic Thai dining experience. We will certainly be back!
