   I bought a pair of shoes (Brand Sketch)in Northland mall CHCH at 15 Dec and then went to Steward Island for a holiday and put the shoes in the luggage as a second one. When I went to one day walking on the Rakiura Track , the left foot arch became ache and ache ,I have to endure the pain to finish that day. When returning to the hotel, the left foot bow was swollen. 22 Dec 2023 , I wen to the shop to ask for exchange or refund, the staff there said the their manager will contact me directly and ask me to leave the shoes there. The manager said they would not exchange or refund and ask me to take the shoes back. It is really frustrating. I got the same message back from the company customer service . Honestly , Sketch is my favorite brand and this is the first time to meet things like this. I will not go to take my shoes back. The shoes are yours and the money is yours also. Done and 88.

   Purchased a lot of shoes from this chain. Have had good purchases and good service. Recently however, very poor service and shoes. Three pairs of shoes - same brand.purchased over a three month period. All three faulty - unwearable due to broken hooks and buckles within a month. Thinking likely to be poor quality seconds but this was not mentioned. When I enquired about returning a pair young service person said they were not obliged to repair or replace them as they were on sale ( $50 off $250 pair of shoes). I asked about the consumer guarantees act and was told their in house policy trumps this. Essentially last pair shoes out front of store good price but possibly poor quality. For other shoes let the buyer beware.

   Mel assisted my friend and I yesterday and we both purchased a pair of funky shoes - fantastic customer service and good banter. We will definitely be returning to Street Legal Northlands on our next visit to Christchurch from Reefton!

   Dont use this shop - I brought a pair of boots at this store I took them home and tried the boots on again and found they were pinching one of my feet. I took them back to the shop and they refused to take the back. I contacted head office same result $200.00 down the toilet - not again thank you street legal
