    carys helped my partner and i get fitted for shoes and although we didn’t go through with the purchase because we wanted to look at different colours elsewhere/didn’t have the exact sizes we needed in the colours we liked, she was approachable, professional and took care in her work - we really appreciated her help!!

    I was actually really surprised and disheartened at the short interaction we had with one of the employees today. We went in for an assessment on our feet, and my partner tried on a few shoes. As soon as he fished trying them the young lady helping us proceeded to ask if he wanted to buy them. That’s fine, but then she asked him again soon after and he decided he was wasn’t going to take them. As we were leaving my partner said thank you, twice, and she completely ignored us, clearly upset at not making the sale. She was quite rude during the interaction, and clearly did not care about our experience as customers. I feel the entire interaction with a customer is important through to the end, not just in the beginning in the hopes of making a sale. This may seem minor, however I work in customer service and I’ve never made a customers feel bad or treated them poorly because I didn’t make the sale. I’m not reflecting this on all the employees, because I did see everyone assisting people and engaging with their customers. However whether a sale is made or not, is the value of a sale with more than politeness and manners? She didn’t have any from the beginning, and non at the end.

    Friendly service but out of their depth. Being a half marathon distance runner, I needed new shoes and got my feet tested, pointed out a few things. The new shoes destroyed my feet to the point I could hardly walk. Used the free 30 day refit, explained what had happened with the other feet, got given some new options but in the same category, they were insistent. Now I can't even run 2km, it has completely wrecked my running. Just terrible, and with the refit new people kept coming in and he would see me then fully focus on the new person, 5 people went through and it took me 90 minutes and only when the shop was clear.

    Today we went in to the papanui store to discuss a fault in my daughters shoes. The staff member lauren was really helpful, it was not a common fault that any of them had seen before but once they established it was a definite fault and not wear and tear , they helped select another pair to replace them. There was an extra cost as new shoe was more expensive . But great service thanks team
