   Staff members are very persistent, even when we did not carry on conversation and wanted to have a look by ourselves and find what flows on our own but was interrupted every few seconds from both ladies. Husband tried on clothes but not even a few minutes in the changing room, staff member asked if it was ok and kept on asking questions when he just wanted to try it on and process it on his own before deciding, we just wanted to be left alone. Even when I looked right into the sale assistants eyes and said we are fine, they still come back to us. I understand some customers might like this kind of service but when a customer is with someone else, it would be nice to leave them to it as being persistent like this only means to leave the other person out while they were supposed to be shopping together. We both left after this and didn’t really have the mood to shop anymore afterwards

   I was in the shop yesterday. We walked in and the shop assistants were having a great time with each other. Eventually a shop assistant approached us, I asked about shorts, she pointed in the direction of the shorts and walked away. Ideally it would have been better for her to stay with us, chat about sizing, like try to make the sale but too quick to get back. I really did not want to purchase from the shop because of the service, when we returned there was an offer to take the shorts back to the counter, easy job . We did purchase 3 items and at the counter as my new sunglasses were placed face down on the counter, there was a mention of the sale items. Just a heads up, do your best whilst you are at work, fun times too, but if you see customers make them your priority.

   Mia H was amazing! We were looking for certain suits in certain sizes, she unfortunately didn’t have them all at Northlands. No question was an issue and wrote down all the details we needed to find them at the other Christchurch stores and also ordered a shirt in for us. She truly went above and beyond. Thank you Mia!!!

   Had the most amazing Shopping experience at Hallensteins in Northland's Mall. Their sales lady called "Connie" went above and beyond her duties to help me find the perfect formal outfit for my son. Connie was professional, friendly and most helpful....Connie deserves a raise!! Highly recommend!!!
