We ate/drank here three times over 3 days, twice for breakfast and once for pre-dinner drinks. Excellent and friendly service, good vibe, and good food. The coffee here is excellent. The French toast is to die for!
Casual atmosphere across from the beach at Onerangi Waiheke Island. Somewhere you can mingle with the locals. Food is good, more casual bar meals. Drinks are cold and team are polite and helpful. Can bring the kids and also Dogs. Only thing that could be improved is the toilet area is real small. Place is clean and tidy.
Great spot on Waiheke Island. We went for a quick trip and felt hungry. We decided to give the restaurant a try and oh boy - did we made the right decision. Food was absolutely incredible. Super friendly staff and overall great experience.
Nice view, but things going expensive here, $28 hamburgers and $5 ginger beer Taste good but not enough for a man. P.s. the menu soaking in red wine is disgustingly stinky.
I had the tuna poke bowl (though it came with salmon instead) and it was delicious. Nice heat from the wasabi mayo. My partner and I split the Bounty for dessert (YUM!!). Service was exceptional. Gorgeous views. I can imagine this place being packed in the summer but it was decently busy on a Wednesday night in autumn. Thank you!
What was great about the place: the staff were very accommodating and cheerful. All of them from the one who took orders, to the one who took payment were wonderful which is the reason for the 2 stars. The food however was a big letdown. The calamari was soggy and just came all by itself (Like cmon if you're going to charge $25 for a main dish, at least have a side salad or something on the plate). The poke bowl flavours did not really complement each other. The crayfish roll had potato chips with it (quite literally the $1.99 a bag supermarket potato chips, again cmon if you're going to charge $28 for a roll at least make the chips in your kitchen. Sorry, but the food was really disappointing which is a shame because the staff & location were awesome.
Perfect lunch spot! Tuna poke bowl was delicious as was the shrimp and crayfish roll. Panhead Super Charger quenches your thirst after the beach!
