My partner and I had dinner at Basalt this evening, we were greeted by Irwin (Duty Manager), he was very nice and welcoming server :) Excellent service, as well as the atmosphere. Food is deeliccouuus. 10/10 recommended!
A beautiful meal and nice Margarita. Staff were attentive and friendly. Our group of 7 all enjoyed their meals. I had the Lamb cutlets, which was tasty..
We had a lovely experience here. The steak was perfectly cooked, juicy and full of flavor – definitely a highlight of the meal. The garlic bread and grilled corn were also delicious starters. However, the pork belly was a bit too fatty and felt quite heavy – I could only manage a few bites. It would be even better if there was less fat and more lean meat. Overall, friendly service, nice presentation, and worth a visit.
We booked a table via First Table, so was able to get a good deal for a table of 4. We ordered the Pan-Roasted Lamb Rump and Butcher's Cut Steak. The food came out quickly and it was very tasty. Basalt is nicely layed out, with one corner for dining, another area where you can watch live sport and have drinks. As well as an upstairs area with music
Great atmosphere. Friendly and competent staff. We ordered beef burger and Tap beer for $40 and it was really nice. Burger comes with fries. Well served portion. Recommended.
Love this place! Went with family for Sunday roast which was amazing and it filled us up, leaving us satisfied. The drinks were super good too and it was lovely sitting next to the fireplace while having dinner. Service was really good too! They were super friendly and understanding :)
Service is good. Food is average though. Selected a few items from the bites menu to share. The lamb ribs were rather terrible. The fried chicken and the pork belly were the best. Prawns were nice. Sides of onion rings and flat bread quite nice and good as fillers.
Service was great. Food was OK, I enjoyed my Beef burger but the Mrs fish and chips meal was under par. The fish tasted old. Also the tables were sticky and the dam flies man!
