My partner and I went here for the first time and we were amazed by the portion sizes! Amazing food and customer service by the waitresses. The restaurant has a very homey atmosphere as well. Overall such a good experience and we’ll be back for sure!
Very cosy atmosphere reminded us of the movie Nonnas! Great service (waitress was so accomodating and we loved her bubbly personality). We had calamari and focaccia for starters and both tasted amazing. For mains we had the seafood risotto and salmon lasagna. Lasagna tasted perfect although risotto could’ve used a bit more seasoning. Overall we enjoyed our night but sad that we needed to leave before trying any dessert!
We’ve been to this restaurant twice now, and each time has been an amazing experience. The food is absolutely top-notch and definitely among the best Italian cuisine we’ve had. The Limone and focaccia were real standouts. The ambience is cozy, and the staff are so warm and welcoming. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic, delicious Italian food. We’ll definitely be coming back again soon!

Loved the honey atmosphere! As for the staff, Daphne, our waitron, was absolutely incre. She went above and beyond for us. We were having a little celebration, and she took it upon herself to make it even more special! The food was fabulous, but it was Daphne and the atmosphere that'll bring me back!
The staff are unbelievably nice! the food is top-notch! This is my go to restaurant for any occasion (favourite.) Every time I have been, its been nothing but good! I cannot even think of feedback nor things they could do better. Highly recommended!!!
We've just moved back into the area after living elsewhere on the Shore for 15 years - first meal out after moving in. The food was sensational and the experience a cosy and friendly revelation. I have a new favourite restaurant and it's only 5 minutes walk away! (I had the seafood dish and tasted the chicken risotto. Although I'm sure the other dishes are just as good, I think that it will be awhile before I can bring myself to experiment beyond those two dishes, if it means foregoing one of them!
Our first dinner at NZ at a really cosy restaurant! The food was excellent! The toddlers enjoyed the pasta and the excellent service by the staff just makes the whole experience so much more enjoyable. They had kids drawing sets for the toddlers to scribble while waiting for the food. Thank you for the wonderful first dinner in NZ!
Most of the food was well prepared and tasty. Portions were small and prices were quite high. We shared a delicious calamari starter for $20 and got 6 or 7 calamari rings (see pic) The biggest let down was the surf and turf main course which read well on the menu but was disappointing when delivered. The steak on the skewer was probably about 70g at most, and was overdone and tasted sour - and was probably over aged. This was accompanied by 6 small prawns and some really good chips and salad. The pasta was good and a more generous portion. Overall, it is not a venue I will be rushing to go back to for anything other than a pasta dish.
